The PSVR 2 is simply one of the greatest VR systems out in the market right now. First, setup is extremely easy. It is just plug and play. Hook up into any of the USB ports in your PS5, follow the prompts on screen to update your new VR and you are ready to go within minutes! Of course, the first game I played was Horizon: Call of the Mountain. Within the first ffew minutes, I was blown away by the full immersion the PSVR2 provides. The ability to display 4K at up to 120hz easily shown within minutes of playing Horizon. The physical design of the headset surely took a lot of research and development by Sony as their are several different adjustments you can use to fit everyones face/head. I even tried while using glasses and the new design of the VR helped make wearing glasses no issue at all! The enviroment scanning and play area features are very good as well at helping give you a safer experience, regardless if you decided to play sitting or standing. With more VR games being announced at the Playstation showcase, I am beyond excited to see what else is in store for the PSVR2. If you have a PS5, the PSVR2 adds an experience unlike anything else.

    PlayStation VR2 & BestBuy Aventura

Great addition to my PS5 Pro doubles as a TV if you don’t have one. You can stream media & play non VR games on what feels like a massive movie theater screen. The included earbuds with 3D Spatial Audio is surprisingly good from sound stage to sound quality. For those of you who wear glasses no need to worry you can still use the headset however I’d recommend investing in prescription lens covers that allow for a more comfortable experience with less adjustments. The headset feels comfortable for me for about 3-4 hours of play time however they do sell improved padding & a head strap to increase play time before fatigue sets in. Overall it’s a great device & I’ve really enjoyed owning it especially being able to play games like RE8 in a whole new and more engaging way; I’ve also enjoyed watching content like Crunchyroll more than I did on my TV. The BestBuy I went to in Aventura was friendly & courteous, I was in & out pretty quick too. If you’re into buying your tech & appliances at BestBuy even if you don’t qualify for their credit card definitely look into their membership options for special offers & protections they also have a current promotion of money back on purchases for premium members.

I try this for 30 minutes at my brother's house before I went the next day to buy my own. By far the best thing is that I am able to wear my glasses inside of the VR headset. It is incredibly comfortable and I have really large glasses for my oversized head...Lol. It was a big investment but I have no regrets. It feels like the future. I was tired of playing games and getting distracted because of everything else going on around including my phone going off. Being completely immersed in the environment, i finally enjoy the game. I've played resident evil village, which is just phenomenal, and horizons. I can only imagine they're going to do better things with VR in the future, but this is providing me a lot of benefits so far.

I've been on the fence about buying one of these since it launched about a year ago. I was intrigued, but couldn't justify the price tag with a lack of available software. Well it went on sale for the holidays so I took the plunge. I'm highly impressed. Amazing visuals, accurate eye tracking, and the games that do exist for it are pretty fun. That last point brings me to my ONLY complaint...that there's just only so many games for it at the moment. Hopefully the discounted price over the holidays boosted the sales of the PSVR2 enough to get some software companies to make some more games for it.

This is another tough review and I think it falls on Sony. I don't know what the problem is if its the cost or not pumping out enough games but the more people that gets behind this thing the better. I know a lot of people are skeptical because of all the negative reviews but ultimately as a gamer it's worth it. The experience I had with Gran Turismo and a racing rig was like no other and everyone who has tried it can vouch. We also just recently had the Hitman release which turned out to be a huge success. Yes we don't have as many games as the Quest and it has a smaller sweet spot than quest but it is still more than doable. The Global Cluster is a life changing accessory with the headset and it's a real shame that Sony didn't factor this in. It's not that expensive of an upgrade. Just get both of them and you shouldn't regret it. Also if you love racing like me and are wondering if that experience alone is worth it, it is! Our recent Hitman addition was what Batman is to the Quest. If you're deciding between one or the other it's a really tough spot to be in. I had to come to the ultimatum that in a perfect world would be to own both and it really is. Save up or get one now and the other one later. That's what I did. I started with this headset and got the Quest later.

Excellent piece of technology. The headset itself is quite comfortable, and is easy to adjust. The controllers feel great, and even though it's plastic, they still have this premium look/feel to them. Of course, the headset needs to be connected to the PS5, but there's enough wire length where you don't have to worry about the possibility of yanking the console or the wire out from tripping or moving around. The actual VR experience is great, just keep in mind that you'll need quite a lot of space to allow the PSVR2 to play some certain games.

I loved the picture quality and the haptic feedback on the controllers. However I was unfortunate enough to lose out on the controller lottery. They wouldn’t properly work in game, making it impossible for me to play any games other than pistol whip. I spent hours on Reddit trying to fix the issue over 3 days to no avail. Ultimately I took it back and got a quest 3s instead which I eventually upgraded to a quest 3. Love the quest 3! Works flawlessly and has more versatility. If you’re considering this do yourself a favor and buy the quest 3 or 3s instead.

MUST READ FIRST: the PSVR2 has had a really bad quality review process from Sony and there are MANY people online reporting of issues with one or both of the controllers not working in games (but does work in the PS5 dashboard). The problem stems from the trigger, one of the buttons, or joysticks. The controller thinks one of them is already pressed (partially or fully), so when you go into a game the game thinks you are already pulling the trigger or pressing the button. Do NOT try to fix the issue with the recommended remedies online (factory reset, turn off/on, update firmware, etc). They will not work or will only give temporary reprieve. You will be wasting your time trying to fix it. Just return it immediately and exchange for a new one. The PS5 PSVR2 has been really fun to play with. I spend most of my time playing in Beat Saber. The tracking works really well. The camera on the headset that lets you see the room you are in is a super low resolution and black-white only, so you can really only use it to find out where you are in the room in case you moved or find the controllers without taking the headset off. Most games give me motion sickness if I try to use the joystick on the controllers to move and I have to resort to teleporting to get around. Jurassic Park for some reason doesn't give me motion sickness though and I can run around freely in it. The game library is pretty weak in comparison to other headset options, but I refused to give money to Facebook. You really want to try and get it on sale though for it to feel like you are getting your money's worth. The lenses are really good to look at and I don't ever feel like I am straining my eyes. Because I do have nearsightedness, I will occasionally have to adjust the headset to see better. I have worn this for well over an hour before my nose starts to hurt.

Also got the five but sadly the cord takes al title to get used to. However it has better graphics and speed of use compared to the other popular vr set up. I have both and this has been used more. Very nice with its ability to custom fit to your face and light to wear. Controls are actually easy to use. Wish they had 1/4 stars because I would give it a 4 3/4

I really love this headset. My son and I started to use it right out of the box. Overall I like the feel of the vr headset and the ability to tighten to each of our comfort levels is much nicer than the Meta VR we have. The hand controllers have a great fit for both myself and my son who has smaller hands. Star Wars is such an awesome game to play on this vr headset and the realism of moving your head out from behind a rock is so amazing. I can feel myself smiling and getting so in to the game just because of the way it feels. Love it and I have NO complaints whatsoever. The included Horizon game is also a great game to have. The length of the connecting wire is long enough to have in our space however it would be great if this was able to be wireless would be even more amazing for this product.

Amazing! So much fun! The cord hasn't really been bothersome. Playing GT7 with the VR2 headset, a steering wheel, pedals, & a shifter makes it feel like you are actually in the car racing. My family has had so much fun with this VR2 headset so far. The Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle makes this deal even more worth it! Thank you Best Buy for always having the best deals & financing options. If you are on the fence about this one I don't think you will regret buying it.

This is bar-none the best entry-level VR headset there is, and while it does suffer from a slightly neutered catalog the price you’re paying for the services rendered far outweigh any others - yes the valve index has a far more interesting and advanced control system. But the display on the PSV2 is stunning, and its set-up is seamless. When this released at $600, it was tremendously overpriced. Now, at $350? You couldn’t make a better budget-friendly choice. Or you simply love Sony as a company - and if that’s the case you’d be wise to pair your PS5pro with their a95 series television. And in the hopes I get both gift cards they owe me (I’m not forgetting what you did to me with that fridge. It took months to get here and you promised) Just as I promise You’d be most wise to purchase this entire list from Best-Buy to get some kind of deal I’d bet they offer + members.

Based on your experience, here's a suggested review you could share: --- Up until this Friday, VR was just another tech buzzword to me—I hadn't paid it much mind. But on a whim, I decided to give it a shot and see what the fuss was about. The experience was nothing short of revelatory. The immersion VR offers is unparalleled; it genuinely feels like you're stepping inside the game. The landscapes, the sounds, the interactions—all crafted to trick your senses into believing you're in another reality. It's an experience that's hard to describe with words alone. If you've been on the fence about VR, or if it's never even been on your radar, I urge you to try it. It has completely transformed my views on virtual reality and the potential it holds for gaming and beyond. Don't miss out on this—it's a game-changer.

    PSVR2 + GT7 Is Absolutely Next-Level

The PSVR2 completely transformed the way I play Gran Turismo 7. I’ve used plenty of racing setups before, but nothing even comes close to the level of immersion this headset delivers. The moment you sit in the cockpit in VR, it feels like a totally different game — the sense of speed, depth, and scale is unreal. You can actually judge corners, braking points, and elevation changes so much more naturally. It genuinely makes you a better driver. The headset itself is incredibly sharp, comfortable, and responsive. The OLED screens make GT7 look stunning, with vibrant colors and super clean details. The eye tracking works flawlessly and the foveated rendering keeps everything running smooth, even during intense races. The haptic feedback in the headset adds another layer of realism you don’t even know you were missing until you try it.

This bundle is an absolute game-changer. The PlayStation VR2 is incredibly immersive—everything feels crisp, smooth, and so real it’s hard to believe you’re still in your living room. Horizon Call of the Mountain is the perfect intro to this next-gen VR. The visuals are stunning, the controls are responsive, and the gameplay is both intense and beautiful. Setup was way easier than I expected, and once you’re in, you’re in. It’s one of the most cinematic and engaging gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time. Huge shoutout to Best Buy for fast shipping and flawless packaging. If you’re thinking about upgrading your VR game, this is 100% the bundle to go with.

Purchased PS VR2 for my daughter as a christmas gift. Worked perfectly for the first 4 days. Was amazed at how great the experience and graffics are. Unfortunately, on day 5, both controllers started to give us issues. It would not work. I tried resetting the controllers and then spoke with the playstation support teams, which told me that since I had it for less than a week to go and get an exchange where I bought it from. Came to Best Buy to get an exchange, but I could not get one saying it was out of stock, so i had to get a refund. I looked ok online same day and it allows me to order it for the same discount deal i bought it for, but I did not receive the refund since it takes few days and I did not have the extra money to pay for it right then. Now it is the next day, and there is no longer a discounted price . Now, I am really debating if spending the full 600$ is even worth getting because I see a lot of people complaining about the controllers. I really like it but dont want to buy one, especially for that price, just for me to have the same repeated problem
