The PSVR2 is a major leap forward in virtual reality for PlayStation 5 users, offering crisp 4K HDR visuals, smooth 120Hz performance, and impressive features like eye tracking and headset haptics that enhance immersion. It’s easy to set up with just one cable and feels incredibly responsive and lifelike in games like Horizon: Call of the Mountain. While the $549 price and wired connection may be a downside for some, it delivers a high-end VR experience that rivals much more expensive PC setups—making it a top choice for serious console gamers looking to explore virtual worlds.

PSVR2 is the truth so far. Games are great. graphics are great. the cord is cumbersome sometimes if you get too involved in the games. The controllers take some time to get used to, but once you di they perform as advertised. So far the best game is GT7. I hate GT games, but using GT7 in VR has made me appreciate GT games at a level I didn't think possible. I'm hitting the lines, braking when I should, and I feel totally like a race care driver when sitting in the cockpit of a sports car. it is is unreal and amazing to say the least. Worth the purchase . i use it to watch movies too to get that theatre feel, and the only thing missing is the popcorn.

It was an amazing product. As soon as we got home, we unboxed it, plugged it in and started downloading apps. As a person who never had any experience with VR’s it was great especially the horizon. Looking forward for more technology advancement.

Graphics good, comfort level is better than the Meta Quest, the chord is annoying. Expensive price tag. I would say: wait till it goes on sale and until they have more games out.

Very easy to set up with the PS5 - though I recommend charging the controllers before attempting to set up. If you get frustrated with the way a game handles, check the settings for how the controllers interact with the game. I kept dropping drum sticks in a demo game and it was the game settings that were making me frustrated, not the usability of the actual controllers I don’t like the earphones that come with it, but that’s my own issue.

I have owned an Oculus Go and the first Oculus Quest prior to purchasing the PSVR2. I purchased a PS5 specifically so I could get a PSVR2 and I have no regrets. The PS5 alone is a great gaming device (I already own an Xbox Series X, Switch OLED) so this new VR device is what made me take the plunge. This device blows the Oculus out of the water in terms of technical capabilities and presentation. Call of the Mountain is a great way to experience this right out of the box, and is a fun way to be immersed in the Horizon universe from a different perspective. This is a wondeful bundle and worth it as purchasing the device standalone still requires you to make a separate game purchase to play anything. The device is very light for a VR headset, and thanks to a single, long thin cord and that alone, you get the power of PS5 graphics in a VR headset. All this without the heavy battery overheating your forehead you have in the standalone headsets like the Quest. If you can afford the cost, well worth the price of admission. Not to mention an already great game library (Resident Evil Village VR, No Man's Sky VR, Star Wars Tales of Galaxy's Edge, and many more). My other issue with Oculus is the constant headset upgrades every 1-3 years which gets very pricey. This device will most likely last the console generation.

I've been using the PS VR for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s an incredible experience, especially if you're new to VR! The quality of the visuals is surprisingly sharp and immersive for the price point, with vibrant colors and details that make you feel right in the middle of the action. Tracking accuracy is solid—movements are generally smooth and well-aligned with the in-game environment, which really pulls you into the gameplay. That said, it's not without a few downsides. One of my biggest issues is the battery life of the controllers. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely be better; I find myself needing to charge more frequently than I’d like, especially during longer gaming sessions. And while the visuals are good, I occasionally notice a slight screen-door effect if I’m paying close attention. Lastly, the setup with all the cables can be a bit messy if you’re trying to keep a clean gaming space. Despite these minor cons, I’d still recommend PS VR to anyone looking for a quality VR experience without breaking the bank. It’s easy to dive into, the games are fun and engaging, and the pros far outweigh the few hiccups!

The PSVR 2 is an overall excellent Virtual Reality headset. I can play games with significantly better graphics than on the original, and it has upgrades for comfort and competes well with the meta quest via its ability to allow you to see your surroundings by a push of a button. However, it does have limited games, and has trouble seeing your surroundings in the dark since it doesn’t use a traditional camera like the original PSVR. Worth the buy though.

Are you ready to take your gaming to the next level? Look no further than the PlayStation VR 2! As a high schooler navigating the world of virtual reality, I was skeptical at first, but let me tell you, this device blew me away. First off, let's talk about the immersive experience. From the moment I put on the sleek headset, I was transported to another world. Whether I was exploring ancient ruins, battling futuristic robots, or simply chilling in a virtual lounge, every moment felt real and exhilarating. Now, let's address the elephant in the room – the left controller pairing issue. Initially, I encountered some frustration when my left controller refused to sync up. However, thanks to the helpful guidance of the sales associate, I was able to exchange it for a replacement without any hassle. Problem solved! Once everything was up and running smoothly, I was amazed by the precision and responsiveness of the controllers. Whether I was wielding a virtual sword or delicately manipulating objects in a puzzle game, the motion tracking was spot on, making every action feel natural and intuitive. The graphics are another standout feature of the PlayStation VR 2. With stunning visuals and smooth frame rates, the games come to life in vivid detail. Whether you're exploring vast open worlds or engaging in intense firefights, the graphics will leave you breathless. And let's not forget the amazing bundle deal that included "Horizon Call of the Mountain." This game alone is worth the price of admission, offering hours of immersive gameplay set in a breathtaking world. But perhaps the best part of the PlayStation VR 2 is the sense of community it fosters. Whether you're teaming up with friends for a multiplayer adventure or sharing your experiences online, the VR community is vibrant and welcoming, adding a whole new dimension to the gaming experience. In conclusion, if you're looking to elevate your gaming experience to new heights, look no further than the PlayStation VR 2. With its immersive gameplay, precise controls, stunning graphics, and vibrant community, it's a game-changer in every sense of the word.

The level of available software is a little light but this is a fantastic product. It fits comfortably and the controllers are fantastic. Software is coming and there are some amazing experiences waiting. The eye tracking is sutteal and incredibly accurate. Also, the product fits with epole that have glasses too. I am knocking it down one star because existing software from the psvr 1 is not backwards compatible but is a great product and is leaps and bounds better than the previous VR offering from Sony.

Amazing product graphics are crisp and gameplay feels amazing, controllers are easy to grip and just great overall for long solo sessions. But when it comes to playing with a group or family it can be alot of tedius readjusting of the lens to get that perfect clear visual. I also have the meta quest 3 i know people will make comparisons, and the mixed reality and ease of set up definitely makes it a great option but me personally i like long sessions to immerse myself and psvr 2 definitely takes the cake on this one, we just need some more exclusives

Its a fantastic experience and I recommend getting one. However, the first unit I recieved, the right controller did not function properly. They had to send an entirely new system just to replace controller. The replacement unit came without the PS factory sticker seal… but everything is working. None of this was BB’s fault. Just a bad control from factory. The customer support during the issue was professional, courteous, and resolved my issue immediately.

Price was great! VR experience is a whole new world. Works both sitting and standing. Be aware the headset will not work through a hub - has to connect directly to the PS on the USB-C port. I use the USB-C for the standard controller charger, and all the other ports for other items, so had to get another hub just for charging the controllers. I would rate as a 5* except: Obviously has two hand controllers, but only 1 short charging cable. If you dont have a spare USB-C to USB A cable, you’ll need to buy another one to charge one of the controllers. After charging, controllers worked at the console level, but not in game. Took some internet research to find it is a known and longstanding issue. Fortunately, one of the laundry list of home-based corrective actions fixed the problem. IMHO, for as long as the problem as existed, this should have been corrected at the factory long ago.
