I bought this mostly to play Gran Turismo 7 in VR which to me is worth the cost of the headset. Throughout its release year there have been games here and there that interest me, but they have released in a less than ideal state. Software might not be it’s strong suit right now, but the hardware is impressive. Will have to see what the future holds in store for gaming experiences on this headset.

I purchased this for my wife when it was deeply discounted and she’s enjoyed playing Arizona Sunshine 2 and Moss on it. It’s ridiculously easy to set up and now that t it can be connected to my pc, i consider the purchase almost essential.
Great for PS5 exclusives but probably not the best

The VR2 is awesome to play GT7 and probably other exclusive PS5 titles. I also own Quest 2, and VR2 is definitely and improvement for games - but it will soon become outdated with Quest3. So if you want to play PS5 exclusive, then get the VR2, otherwise, meta quest 3 will get you a better device for the money.

I love best buy! I purchased a vr headset, received it the next day! Also it went in aale 2 days later. They refunded me $200 for a price match.
The process was super easy. I logged in my account and clicked a button.
I was refunded $200 it was that easy

I played the one my friends had, and just had to get my own. It's still lacking on having a good number of quality games, but I am easily able to wear my glasses with it and it is easy to use.

Got it on sale. Wouldn't have purchased otherwise. That being said... It's pretty great tech! Several fun games that are worthwhile as of the time of this review. Whether or not Sony continues supporting it... only time will tell. They do have a tendency to not support their handhelds and various other peripherals such as this. Hopefully that won't be the case here. Oh... also... they really dropped the ball by not figuring out how to make VR1 games compatible without developer updates. Get with the program, game devs!

This is just one of those things that you need to try. Pictures and game videos don't do it justice. Even watching the gameplay on TV while someone uses it couldn't possibly describe how lifelike environments look.
If you're afraid of accidentally smashing your TV, there are virtual borders you can set around yourself that once broken, will stop the game and ask that you step back.
VR games are not as full-featured as regular games, but they are a real trip into another dimension.

This is my first VR unit and I have to say Im very impressed with the tracking and the fidelity of some of the games. I know we are still limited by needing to be on the PS5 and blah blah blah $500 console isnt a PC, but Im okay with this. For $1000 you got a whole console PLUS a VR system. You cant really do that on PC lol. Anyway, RE8 is *chefs kiss*, synth riders, everything. Love it all.

The headset itself works very nicely. After beating resident evil village vr and playing both no mans sky and tetris effect i can say that the immersion is just fantastic. I would play more gt7 on it but i lack the wheel to be really able to enjoy it. I do like it, but im waiting for the vr library to give me more options with more open ended vr games.

I got a little dizzy... I feel like you need a little help adjusting the helmet and controls, and I feel like the cable gets in the way a bit, but otherwise it looks great.

I love the upgrade i have the last version as well. This one is much lighter, its less bulky and not weighing down your head. The sensors are much better. I like that it senses your eye movement and allows you to look around corners without to much body movement

Exceptional piece of gaming hardware. The last VR headset I owned was the original VIVE headset for PC. This is… so much easier to own and use when compared to the VIVE. Everything just… works. Highly recommended. I purchased this with the sole intent of playing GT7 with the Logitech 923 steering wheel and pedals. Does not disappoint Highly recommended!
