I got these "for my son" and have not been disappointed at all. These are an improvement over the 1st generation in every way.

Absolutely beautiful. This is by far the best VR on the market. My son loves it so much it was the best Christmas gift for a teenager. After buying one on Amazon in December, when he opened the VR we noticed how damaged it was and had to send it back. He was crying in his room and I immediately brought this one from Best Buy and let him add to cart and process the order. Something he says he will never forget. Thank you Best Buy
No where near as good a Quest2 and $300 overpriced

So this is a bit worse than a quest 2. Quest 2 is $400, Wireless, Built in OS, Battery, and MUCH MUCH better tracking.
I'm not sure what we are paying for with this headset. If it was $200 It would be an ok price. but to lack SO much vs an older less expensive headset and do most of it worse.
The fit is different, and does feel nicer resting on my forehead vs my face. However the cheap rubber cushions pull on my hair and do not breath at all.
Build wise it also feels like a dollar store toy. As do the controllers. Which for some reason cannot be used as normal controllers in normal games.
As well there is this odd "Screen door" like film over the lens. Not a screen door effect, but this constant pattern across the lens you can see at all times.
This product is $300 too expensive and simply not good enough on any level to make any sense. At any price above $250.
It's only redeeming feature is I can play the 2D games on it thanks to it using DP passthrough instead of internal processing.
I want to bring up tracking again. This is really really bad. The picture will randomly start shifting at an angle as well moving left or right. In perfect conditions this headset performs worse than other headsets in very bad conditions.
Last the PS5 simply does not have the power to do the graphics very well at all. Most games feel like I am stepping back into the PS3 era. And what is worse is how poor many of the current PS5 VR games are.
I am not sure what is more astonishing. How bad this product is or how expensive it is for such a poor product.
This is an underbaked product not ready for launch.
Be Aware it may cause headache after short session

I and my wife have experience headache after using this VR for 30 mins. Besides, its not confortable to wear and I find it hard to get those lenses cleaned before I start playing. Don’t get me wrong, the VR experience is descent with Horizon being the best experience on it. But honestly, its still too early for me to adopt VR until they made light, more comfortable headsets with enough game libraries to enjoy. Also, why no PC/Mac support for those none ps5 owners. At this price it has to support every other platform

I bought this to use as a PCVR headset. If that's what you're looking for you should only be considering the psvr2 or the metaquest 3. The PSVR2 has better fov, brightness and colors but the quest 3 is considerably clearer. After using a quest 3 its hard to go back to the blurt psvr2. Its still a great headset though
