Easy to set up with shallow learning curve and generous selection of games. Snagged a sense controller charger on Amazon for $6 that is no longer available but plenty of other sense chargers for much less than $50. Big time thanks to Ryan at local best buy--the $200 discount occurred more than 2 weeks after my purchase and he was able to put together in store credits which was very much appreciated.
As an aside, I decided against purchasing a treadmill due to high maintenance--calibration and fine adjustments have to be implemented every time after restarting and the headset only is plug and play.

I had the original PSVR and enjoyed it well enough. But the PSVR2 is hands down one of the best vr platforms out there.
If you have any interest in vr and have a PlayStation 5 this is what you are looking for. It's super comfortable and although it is cable connected it is hardly noticeable.

This headset is amazing, especially if you are playing the new Horizon game. It is very interactive and it’s like you are there in person which makes it even more fun. The only issue I had was I have vertigo and playing on the headset for a while does not help. But I would definitely recommend it.

The PlayStation VR2 is a significant leap forward in console-based virtual reality. With dual 2000x2040 OLED displays per eye, it delivers sharp, vibrant visuals that enhance immersion. The inclusion of eye-tracking technology allows for intuitive interactions and supports foveated rendering, optimizing performance by focusing resources where you’re looking. The new Sense controllers, featuring haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, provide a tactile and responsive gaming experience. Additionally, the headset’s built-in haptics and 3D audio further deepen the sense of presence in virtual environments. While the tethered design may limit movement compared to wireless options, the single USB-C connection simplifies setup. It’s worth noting that the PS VR2 is not backward compatible with PS VR titles, and the current game library is still growing. However, for PS5 owners seeking high-quality VR experiences, the PS VR2 offers impressive technology and immersive gameplay.

The system is AMAZING!!! Bring gaming to life. You don't just play it you feel it.
The setup is surprisingly simple. And the system is very intuitive. Sony set the mark with this VR. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the lack of available software. Bur I am very excited about the coming games.

Great headset, more comfortable than other headsets both in terms of VR sickness and the way it sits on your head. I haven't played much other than GT7. That being said I play it for hours at a time in total bliss!! Sony hit it out of the park with this one

I recently purchased the PlayStation VR2 from Best Buy, and I'm thrilled with the overall experience. Best Buy's delivery service was prompt and hassle-free, ensuring my PSVR2 arrived in perfect condition. The headset itself delivers exceptional performance with vibrant visuals and sharp details that immerse me in a whole new world of gaming. Although extended use can lead to some head sweating, it's a minor inconvenience compared to the incredible immersion and enjoyment the PSVR2 offers. The improved controllers provide precise tracking and adaptive triggers, enhancing the gaming experience to new heights. With an extensive library of games available, there's something for every taste. Best Buy's delivery and the PSVR2's performance have exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an outstanding virtual reality gaming experience.

I was only going to give a 4 star rating due to the cord but honesty, it’s not a bother. Kinda keeps you from over doing it on some games. The graphics are amazing and even the smaller head phones do very well. For the price, it’s a 5 star day.

Literally only worth having for Gran Turismo 7

I also have a Quest 2 and a PSVR 1. This headset is the least comfortable of the three, has the worst controllers, and the shallowest library of games. There are strange display artifacts (streaking, god-rays, noise, mura) that outweigh the benefits of the higher resolution and HDR. There are very few games worth playing for this that don't also exist on Quest or PC. Being wired sucks once you're used to wireless, and the controllers' batteries only last a few hours at most. It's a bad product and I'm glad I got it after the price drop.
That being said - Gran Turismo 7 is an incredible experience. It's the best VR racing game overall that exists right now (including PC VR games). I have a driving wheel controller, so I don't need to use the horrible VR Sense controllers to play it. Also, the style of game (bright, fast-moving backgrounds, fixed foregrounds) sort of works with the display artifacts so they don't bother me as much. Being wired is not a problem if you're sitting in one place. Gran Turismo 7 will probably never be available on any other platform, so if you want to play it in VR, you need to get this headset.
In summary - don't buy this unless you specifically already have a driving wheel controller and are only looking to play Gran Turismo 7.

Graphics are incredible, it’s more comfortable than the oculus. The sound is crazy good it’s almost noise cancelling. The only problem is that it has to remain plugged into the console but it does have a really long cord.

I absolutely LOVE my PSVR2! I've always been a fan of video games and good peripherals to enhance the immersion. I never bought the original PSVR because I wasn't convinced the tech was far enough along to be more than a novelty, but this new iteration absolutely delivers! With the 3D sound from the earbuds, the haptic feedback in the headset and controllers, and the comfort and simplicity of the whole setup, this is everything I'd hoped for. There's still only a few full high quality games available but between RE: Village, Synapse, No Man's Sky, and of course Best Saber I feel like I will get my money's worth on this for a long time to come.
