Although I had this speaker for about a month, so far this speaker is exactly what I expected. Those who listen to house and trance music, look no more, this speaker delivers great bass except of volume of 70% or higher, but for this price it is expected. I got my speaker for $60, and it is definitely the most bang for your buck at that price. I have had JBL Flip 2, and although it may sound 5% better at max volume, it lacks in bass in the mid volume range. Also JBL's tend to be unreliable and they break a lot, caused by battery and charging problems. Sonny SRS X2 is exactly as SRS X3 without good enough bass. At max volume, X2 and X3 sound the same (X3 may be a tiny bit louder). This is my honest review, and I hope it helps!

Easy to set up speaker quick pairing great sound quality

Power the speaker on. Please the Bluetooth button on the speaker and it will start to blink. Turn on the Bluetooth from your phone and link it to the speaker. Great sound fills the room and you don't need to turn the volume all the way out. Power will turn off automatically if you don't use it. Portable to transfer form room to room.

I am sure there are better ones out there for the same price. Got this one and cannot complain. It's small, compact, black, portable... all good things that I was looking for. It does give a nice little kick in sound. Again, I am sure there are better speakers out there that compete for the same things like size, sound, and price.

I've been intrigued with these for awhile wondering if something this small could really put out some good sound loud enough for a big den or something. I would always test them at the store, but then thought about these demonstrations. You are standing 2 feet away from it and they are at ear level. Of course they sound good. So to the dismay of everyone around including the employees, I started turning them up pretty loud and moving far away from it. Is it clear and loud from 10 feet away? 20 feet? 30 feet? When I started testing them in this way, I found this one to be superior to the others. Bose may be better. Didn't even test them because the name Bose makes them automatically expensive. Since I brought this home as a Christmas present for my daughter, I've been very impressed. She has been able to annoy me with her teenagers lame excuse for music from anywhere in a 2400 sq ft, 2 story house.

The richness and volume of sound was unexpected for such a small package. Light years ahead of comparable bluetooth speakers I've had. I was so impressed I convinced my mom to get one; she actually uses it as her home theater speaker!

The size, the ease of use, the sound and the price helped me choose this speaker. I compared to 4 other makes and models and this is the best all around speaker.

This is my first bluetooth speaker and I love it. It is great for home use and travel. I roll it up in some clothes and it fits great in my suitcase. The sound is loud and clear. I have to be really far away to lose any signal or get any audio break up.

The sound from this little unit, about the size of a brick, is great both inside and outside. I mainly use it in the backyard, but the sound quality is better than the sound bar and subwoofer I use with my TV. The price is very good for the quality.

Picked up this Sony SRSX3 on sale, great value. NFC, lithium battery and more. The Sony name offers me some peace of mind, before the purchase. Bluetooth speakers are so convenient, and ideal for my personal use. Enjoying the sound from this X3.

Bought this for my son to take to his dorm. The trick is finding one small enough to really be portable and to fit into a small space, while still producing great sound. This speaker really hits that mark, with a nice full sound. A great $100 speaker.

I decided to upgrade to a more premium bluetooth speaker after my $20 knockoff from amazon broke within 3 weeks of purchase. Comparing the two, the clarity and base from the Sony Speaker WAAAAAY outperforms the knockoff by far. My only complaint is that it doesn't work while the power supply is plugged in.

I'm enjoying the speaker very much. The sound quality is great. Pairing was SUPER easy. Once I figured out that the setting to stop the phone sounds from being transmitted is a function on the phone and not the speaker, I was over the moon!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It was very easy to set up and sounds great. She uses it when she is getting ready for school. It goes from the bathroom to her bedroom with her. The range seems to be very good as well.

I got his speaker during a sony sale which made the price go down to $50. After listening to the quality, bass, and loudness, I would pay full $130 if I had to buy another. On amazon it is $150 so to get this speaker for 50 was great.

This is a really great little speaker. It's the first Bluetooth speaker I have purchased. I've heard others, this one sounds better! Goes a long time on a single charge. Tone quality is superb! I would buy it again in a heartbeat…

May be the best bang for your buck speaker if you get it on sale. The larger model puts out better mid-bass, but isn't worth the additional funds. I purchased this in June and my wife uses this in 90+ degree heat for hours at a time with no issues. The size is great for portability.
