Easy to setup with very clear and great sound. Would purchase again.

The product description on this page states that this phone has 1.5GB of RAM. This isn't true. It only has 900mb in total, including RAM being used by the system. It can't run certain features on some apps because of the lack of RAM. Still, it's a cheap phone, so if you need something on the fly like I did, not a terrible purchase.

Was very surprise of the full sound that the speaker produces but i wouldn't pay full price for the speaker.

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago now to play HD Radio through and it was an easy choice. The sound out of this box is deep and highly articulated. The bass driver and it's passive radiator add the depth while the left and right speakers give accurate reproduction across the rest of the spectrum. It really brought out the best of my HD Radio. There is a 'sound' button that seems to be most effective at lower settings, like the loudness button on older stereos. It brings up the mids and highs at lower volume. While playing loud is a great feature, and the SRS X55 does that very well, it's lower volume that separates the good from the great and the also rans. Music and voice have a clarity that is satisfying at all levels through this bi-amped speaker, the passive bass radiators face rearwards while the woofer and stereo speakers face forward. It can fill my whole apartment and deliver the goods on the patio as well with a rich, detailed sound field. Sony has really packed some digital magic into this small speaker system, there is a LOT to like about it. Good stout charging cable, USB charger, aux in jack, super easy pairing, quality construction throughout, sleek modern unobtrusive design. This was my first experience with a Bluetooth speaker, I really shopped and listened so I wasn't drawn in and then disappointed with what I got causing the inevitable upgrade. The sound is easily equal to units costing much more, no place to upgrade to with the SRS X55. The only niggles are the weight, it is packed with electronics so it is pretty dense, the housing is metal too so it's well shielded from interference. It's got to be expected to be a little porky when this is taken into consideration. The battery is not equal to some, I seem to be getting 8-10 hours at moderate volumes which is totally acceptable to me. These two 'cons' are really pretty minor for me because of 'The Sound'. As a tone hound this speaker has really tripped my trigger, it gives a 'being there' feel to all types of music. I've even used it with my portable digital 8 track recorder for remote use application. It is outstanding across the board. The innovation and high quality Sony has packed into the SRS X55 make it a real winner, the small size and big sound are unbeatable.

Clear sound, great depth for a variety of music. If you want deep bass for hip hop, then find something with a bigger box and subs. Easily comparable to a Bose speaker but I like this sound better and the price is righteous! Great fill for a small room.

Bought this for a family member and she loves it. Small enough to carry around

Went in to Best Buy to buy the Bose Blue Tooth Speaker saw the Sony on display priced 50 dollars cheaper decided to try it. After listening to the Sony Speaker walk out buying the Sony and I'm very happy with the speaker and saving 50 dollars.

GENERAL INFO: If you're wondering how this is going to sound in a particular room, you're going to have to buy it and try it out in that space. Here's the thing. This is going to not only sound different in different rooms but even just how you position the speaker will have an enormous impact on how it sounds. CON: I found myself having to adjust the EQ on nearly every song. If you're sensitive to sound quality and how well you can hear high/mid/low frequencies, this is going to be annoying for you. PRACTICALITY: Here's the deal. This is just too expensive to buy for home, casual listening. For the money, you can get something that sounds way better for the same price or less (e.g., klipsch promedia 2.1 computer speakers). Therefore, the only reason to buy this is if you need to a speaker you can travel with or carry with you somewhere remote. However, if that's what you are doing, this is probably too bulky and heavy. If that's what you want, I'd recommend the comparable Logitech or JBL bluetooth speaker as they are more rugged, light, and (I think) louder.

At first I wasn't so sure about the Speaker. After I connected, I was happy with my purchase. Great sound and comes in handy when your phone is running low on battery because you have a USB port on the speaker. Works well with charging devices. Overall a good speaker.

I first purchased this as a gift for my in laws and then had to go back and buy another for myself. I think the sound quality is really great. I would compare it to speakers that are a higher pricepoint.

The sound coming from this speaker is really fantastic. Don't hesitate to buy this. You can use this speaker to scare you friends. Download some scary sounds to your phone and hide the speaker, great fun!

Got this on clearance. These sony bluetooth speakers are really good. I stream music to two speakers in two different rooms at the same time. Typically stream iTunes tracks through bluetooth.

This speaker performs as well as the Bose equivalent at a better price.
