Also with the digital station you don't have to worry about trying to locate the precise location of a station like with a dial.

They do the job i ask of them, the reception is terrific, and if you replace the clunky headphones with earbuds, they're even better. Nothing overly-sexy about this radio - c'mon folks, it's an analogue radio - and since this is what i wanted, I'm just fine with it!!

I tried another brand (Sanjean) and wasn't happy with it so I returned it in exchange for the Sony. It's like an old friend. I have never heard anything on the weather band so I could do without it and would rather have more am/fm presets instead.
