Bought as gift. Recipient really likes sound and portability.

good little radio for when we go on a walk and don't want to have pandora or iTunes radio on.

I purchased this portable radio because the Dodgers video is blacked out in LA, except for Time Warner, and many smartphone apps block out the audio broadcast. On this radio, I am able to listen to 570AM and I get all the games. The signal on most AM stations is strong and clear. Some local, major FM stations are strong and clear (like KTWV 94.7), but I was surprised that others were not, like 100.3

The weather band does not work - which is why I docked 1 star. I would never rely on this as a weather radio, so I would not return the radio because of this issue. The radio is ok, obviously nothing spectacular... it is an inexpensive portable radio, but fine for taking on a walk or out in the garden. Just what I wanted.

Wanted a little radio with headphones to use out on the front porch to listen to local news when I'm having morning coffee. This little radio works well, but sometimes speaking audio is a bit muffled. Not a big deal with me, for the price. Like it.

I'm glad i found a nice Sony portable radio with weather band when I go walking/jogging.

Use the radio to update the news and weather as I am getting up in the morning and to listen to sports in bed before I go to sleep. Works very well for those purposes. Wish it has more am station capabilities. Otherwise, happy with it.

Easy to carry in a pocket at athletic events. Able to hear over crowd noise.

Good value for the cost. I use the radio to listen to over-the-air broadcasts at football games. Works perfect at outdoor stadiums, but needs a strong signal to work at indoor stadiums. I use a lighter set of earbud headphones from an old Sony Walkman. The headphones with the radio are too bulky.

This is probably the third one he's gotten. Uses it every night to sleep. He bought a different one and hated it and immediately went to rebuy the same one when he realized the quality in this one was much better for his needs.

Bought this as a gift for an older coworker friend so we could listen to hockey together. he enjoys the am/fm option of it, and a little closer to old fashioned radio that he was used to.

I bought this for my dad, He loves it because of the weather band. It has great reception and loud volume. also it's compact, lightweight and easy to use. Use one AAA battery.

I bought this for my son and he is enjoying it. Has good quality sound.

Reception is good in the rural area where I use it. I especially like the Weather Band feature. Only problem that I have had is hitting the control buttons by accident.
