Works great batteries last long good portable radio for fm/am music

I bought this for my husband who works outside in noise. He's always said his time would go faster if he at least had some music to listen to. I found this and bought it and he was realllly happy about it. He is very judgemental and hesitates to say anything is really good but he did say this about this Sony portable radio! He uses his ear bud from his phone and can still work outside and hear other talk. GREAT investment!!!

I use it when I workout and when I walk everyday. Very easy to use.

Has nice sound quality. The presets work well. Convenient size.

Great little radio for my husband when he mows the lawn.

Needed a small portable radio that husband could attach to his earphones so that he could listen to the radio while working in the yard. This has worked perfectly. Small enough and he can attach it to his waist band, add the earphones and he is all ready to go!

Love it!!! Thought they no longer made these as this is my third. I use it daily at work. I caught the display out the corner of my eye while discussing a phone issue. Never had a second thought about purchase.

This Sony am/fm portable radio works well while exercising or spending time in the outdoors. The one AAA battery that is needed has very long life, and overall we get good reception with this unit.

This is so convenient and easy to use while walking.

This is a good radio for it's size. i bought it as a gift for a hiker who enjoys it on the trail. It has a weather channel. It is compact and not too heavy. However, it comes with bulky headphones . I purchased small headphones to use with it instead.

This radio is light and easily fits into my shirt pocket during exercise. The Best Buy price matching made this an excellent purchase but the included headphones were immediately replaced by smaller and lighter ones. I would buy this radio again.

It doesn't have great reception in our mobile home park, but there is no real antenna, so that isn't a surprise. The headphones are pretty nice. Not a bad deal. I got it on sale.

Purchased this to bring to Minnesota Wild games to listen to the in-house radio broadcast. Compact with crisp reception. Look forward to using on long walks when my iPod is not an option. Haven't used the weather band function yet.

Some am stations are a little weak- otherwise a terrific radio. Compact and fits easily in your pants pocket if you don't want to attach to your belt. Clarity is excellent.

My husband is a stroke survivor. He finds it hard to get to sleep at night. He puts on his earphones and plugs in his walkman and sleeps like a baby. This is his 2nd walkman in 12 years.

I have been pleased with this radio. With digital tuning, it really homes in the stations and rejects close frequencies. It is not the strongest at getting signals that are a bit farther away. Great for close-by stations.

I've bought it for my son. He said that the radio serve it's purpose. headphones is bad, He has to change them in one week.

I have had product before. The radio works real well and only uses one battery; yet it lasts longer than others with two batteries. It has real good reception

This is the second radio (same one) I have purchased. Hope Sony finds it in their heart to continue producing it. It is convenient, small, with the right earphones has a great sound. Receives stations from a great distance. I can get WLS, Chicago in the Florida Panhandle (clear)
