Ok, I did some heavy research on bluetooth speakers! I got the Bose soundlink colour...returned it. Sound was good but not enough bass. Exchanged it for the Sony X55, great speaker but then realized they had the X77 in stock. I tried every JBL, UE and even Beats Pill and nothing compared to the sound of the X77. It is a bit steep in price but and a kinda heavy in weight but it's well worth the money. I suggest getting a laptop bag or something to carry it. The features are great...you may never need the wi-fi until updates but it is a nice thing to have if you don't want to connect through bluetooth. Overall, I'm so glad I went with the SONY. Bose had a few come close but for way more money. The sound is the end result you are paying for!!

I have been quite fond of Sony and their audio engineers for a long time. I currently own the SRS-X5 and it has been a workhorse. This big brother has been no exception. It gives me room (large) filling sound. Bluetooth is strong working around nearby corners so I can keep my phone in my pocket. I haven't used the wifi capabilities of this thing so I can't speak to that. Battery life is fairly accurate based on specs, which I realize for some people is an issue, but I doubt I will be partying more than 6 hours.

I love this speaker. The WiFi capabilities are great. I mostly use Google Cast but have also used the Sony Song Pal app. I love the ability to set the equalizer to my liking. The Bluetooth works well also, when I take it outside and use the battery I connect with Bluetooth and it is also a great option. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Nice product by Sony: portable wireless speaker with amazing bass for its size; got an open-box, deeply discounted one but in perfect shape :) battery lasts a very long time, as advertised. I am giving 4 not 5 stars only because I find the full price too high.

At firs I wanted to get a beats pill but then the sale person at best buy advised me it was on sale and the sound quality was great took his advised and I love the way my music sounds

Finally a speaker that performs amazing. Compared to the compilation, this is a stand out speaker. The bass response for such a small speaker is great. The clarity is fantastic. Hooking the speaker up to WI-FI was simple. The Bluetooth and NFC work great as well. I highly recommend this speaker.

I was long for a deluxe speaker that ran on batteries I was looking at Bose but the nice speakers were only plug in I found a great buy for $150 half off It sounds just like a Bose and it runs on batteries I Really like it !

I purchased this speaker to listen to audio books from Overdrive while I am doing house chores. After downloading Song Pal, it was easy to connect to phone via Bluetooth and set up. Sound is clear and is great for my purpose, but not as rich for music. For the money, it is a good deal.

Works really well. We only use it via Bluetooth and don't use the wifi piece. Like that it's small enough to take with you but still has great sound.

I felt the price tag was a little high based on the specifications I saw, but I was fortunate enough to catch this bad boy on sale. The sale price made it an easy decision. Once I had the speaker playing I understood the base price point. It has an awesome sound quality and completely fills the room.

AirPlay was big for me. Newer Bose products do not use AirPlay only Bluetooth. I got it on sale so I can't complain. Easy set up Great price. Best speaker in its class.

Unable to add to existing Sony system, won't "GROUP" as advertised. May return device, though satisfactory as standalone wireless speaker.
