This compact speaker has outstanding performance. It does a beautiful job and looks good doing it. I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. I do believe the app could use some fine tuning. Otherwise, 5 stars and two thumbs up.

This premium high-resolution wireless and bluetooth speaker system by Sony is the best speaker there is. I have tried out speakers by Bose, Klipsch and others, none come close. I love the sound quality. It is crisp and clear and plenty of power.

This speaker is great. I use it for Airplay and Google Cast. Works flawlessly in all situations. It also uses 802.11n instead of the older 802.11b. I've had Airplay speakers in the past that always dropped the connections, this one doesn't.

I absolutely love this speaker. It is a bit heavy and not recommended for portability. This is a designated speaker. Also, bluetooth for other devices can be challenging without the app. Make sure you have an AUX cord.

Love the crispy sound and HI res tech this piece of equipment is really good however it has to be plugged in in order to work.. I like how it syncs with my Sony soundbar

I had a Marshall speaker which I purchased from Fred Segal. It was an awesome speaker but this Sony speaker beats it in both sound and price.

Finally, a wireless speaker that does the job well without leaving out anything to desire. But that's not all. It is Hi-Res too.

Initially I bought the SRS-X77, which I really liked - except for the lack of highs. It was still pretty decent, though. But then a few days later Sony dropped prices across the line by $100, so I went ahead and exchanged it for this SRS-X88 for the same price. And as I hoped, the twitters make all the difference - the 88 is in another league sound-wise compared to 77. It's not much louder, but it just sounds so much more pleasing, and I can hear the difference from any place in my room. Same great connectivity as the 77 - just sounds better. I don't have anything negative to say. Just amazed by the great sound quality from such a small unit.

I found this speaker to be of high quality. I only wish you didn't have to plug it in to use it.

Lacks base. Compared to Sonos, it doesn't even come close.
