This is a great case but only if you plan on only using this case and not putting it into another hard case. If let this made the camera a bit more bulky

Strap can be used with the case or just the camera. Case can be mounted on a tripod. Front cover is detachable.

Cheapo leather and clunkier than one I have for HX 80 zoom cam. Not as tight a fit for RX 100.

I am sure dust will penetrate the case and into the camera.

This case fits my camera perfectly. Makes it easy to take pictures.

First, I don't know how this case got such good reviews..the design is terrible, yes, the leather looks cool but thats about it. Second,you you have to unsnap the top part to use, and then it just dangles there all annoying and in the way unless you want to take it completely of, which then you would need to put that somewhere (for a chic its not a huge deal because assuming you have a big purse, you can stash it there, but for a guy, good luck shoving it into your pocket. Third, the strap is a joke, there is nothing to truly secure the neck strap to the camera. It comes with these stupid plastic rings which you loop the extra strap through, but it will fall right out. Total design flaw. If you want to feel comfortable that it won't slide loose when wearing around your neck, you will need to buy the kind of strap that clips into the rings, otherwise, you better hold onto it. Other then it looking cool when its on and not being used, its misleading and not worth it. Better off just buying a small case that you can wear around your neck and just take the camera out when you want to use it, save you a few steps.
