When they work.. it is a great in ear ear bud for gaming in my opinion. I hear absolutely nothing but the game, no outside noise. Not even when someone right next to me is speaking. I hear great footsteps in call of duty. The downside is they disconnect from my playstation 5 constantly. They slip out of my ear sometimes even though ive tried multiple ear piece sizes that they come with.

Very good sound for gaming. The battery life is not great, and they get a bit hot in the ears but even still, would be perfect if they didn’t intermittently disconnect when using the Bluetooth with 2.4ghz dongle plugged into the PS5 or PC. If they patch this the product would be quite good, but as it is now, the defect is a deal breaker.

High quality earbuds. They have really good sound and are easy to sync to your PS5. They are comfortable but not as comfortable as my pulse headphones. Good but not perfect.

The Sony PULSE Explore is a compelling option if your priority is immersive, low-latency gaming audio on the PS5, in a compact in-ear form. Their sound quality and dual connectivity are standout features. But if you often play for very long stretches, travel, or need strong mic performance or noise cancelling, there are trade-offs to consider.

I love them! Sounds great easy to use and very comfortable and they stay charged for quite a while i use these everyday!

 It’s unfortunate that these products have a low rating because of people placing one stars on the pre-launch issue. These reviews are meant to help people decide if they want to purchase the product or not. For me the sound quality is great. I use it with my Sony portal and I’m very happy. Easy to connect and they do include multiple earpieces so you have the correct size. Sony did a great job with these earbuds. If you have a PlayStation portal they’re definitely a great accessory. No lag at all & comfortable to wear.

Bought this back im September 7 , its a great product specially if youre like me and dont like the big chunky headsets that leave you “headset dents” specially after gaming for hours , they have great futures, easy connectivity to any devices such as your smart phone or even gaming pc for that matter, may favorite future is the fact thst i could conect my phone and gaming console at the same time id never missed important calls since i could talk on the phone while still hearing the game !!! The earphones also have smart noise cancellation technology my friends said ever since i switched to this gaming earbuds my mic quality has improved and the background noise is less noticeable. In conclusion this is a great product that id truly recommend to anyone and i know its a sonny priduct but im sure this would be just as good for any gaming pc even to just use them for a smart phone and i would consider this a great alternative for those big ugly gaming headsets

These headphones are perfect and comfortable for wireless gaming. I love these and would definitely buy them again. They connected in seconds and seamlessly connect every time!

I tried these headphones out for about a week. I didnt use them for a playstation but for listening to music. The sound that i got on was really good but it lacked bass and they were so heavy they were uncomfortable to wear.

Decent sound and 3D spatial experience in a portable factor. initially had some issues with crackling sound during game chat, but it appears the latest software and firmware updates have eliminated that issue. A bit uncomfortable at first, but I got used to the fit. Might just be my ears.

Connectivity could be easier, but theu do not connect luke the controllers do. Still they provide good 3D audio for greater immersion in your games.

very good quality sound. I can sense the 3D sound in games and it adds a fun experience to the game. I did have one instance where the buds just disconnected on their own, and not sure why. if they keep doing that I might consider reducing it by one star. but right now, its 5 stars and a recommended purchase.

If you have a PS5, Portal and the budget for these, get them! They feel great in my ears (try the different earbuds for proper fit), they’re light which makes them very comfortable. Most importantly to me is they sound great! The charging case is pretty nice as well. Besides the price, i have zero complaints for what i needed them for. And that’s mainly for wireless earbuds for my Portal.

After seeing a ton of reviews, most not being very positive I was hesitant on buying these. When I first got them home and tried them out of the box I'll admit I wasn't too impressed and immediately wanted to take them back, but after someone suggested I try some new ear tips and to update them to the version that comes with the EQ that Sony put out at the end of January my thoughts changed immediately. After adjusting the EQ I realized the sound was totally night and day then before, and with the proper ear tips the earbuds no longer constantly fell out of my ears and they formed a seal which trapped in the sound making it sound so amazing like nothing I had heard before especially from an earbud. For anyone reading this make sure you use an ear tip that seals because I found the ones that Sony included weren't really that good and make sure you download the EQ on the PS5. Also I heard people saying that there was constant disconnect issues which I've experienced only two disconnects in a 3-week period which I can't tell you why it happened but at the end of the day I've gone more than week without it happening so it hasn't been in real issue. Also these are amazing if you play in VR because the sound signature is truly amazing and you can hear everything around you. I owned a pair of the new pulse elite headphones and let me tell you these are right there with them. I ended up returning the pulse elites because the earbuds were more convenient and felt way more comfortable with VR. You can't go wrong either way but don't hesitate on buying these earbuds because they are truly amazing.

Good sound once you are fitted with the right size ear tips. Connection sometimes drops, but overall good. Price is pretty steep.

Very comfortable and very good for the price if you have a chance to purchase a set of these earbuds I recommend you don't wait.

comfort is pretty good. sound is really good. but they disconnect at random for no reason when I am.sitting in the same exact spot and it doesnt matter the charge full half or under half. 1 will start flaking out then eventually they both go out.

The sound is pretty good and the bass is fine. My only problem with these is comfortability. You need to angle them right when you enter them in your ear at least for me. I always can “feel” that they’re on as opposed to a headset. So much so that I’ve experimented with different ear tips to find the most comfortable way to use them. One more positive feature I enjoy is you can have audio playing from whatever you plug in the dongle to and connect the Pulse explore earbuds via Bluetooth to your phone/laptop and listen to both simultaneously.

Very good earbuds. I use mine with my PS portal. It connects to two devices at once which is pretty impressive when you experience it in action. I connect to the portal to hear game audio, and I connect to my iPhone for voice chat on the ps app or discord, or a phone call, or Spotify. Works beautifully. I docked the score 1 star because it has no active noise cancelling. Super happy with my purchase tho. Would recommend to portal users.
