Compact but powerful! A great buy. Easy to use and great playback!

The best recorder ever. I love the small convenient size and the ease of the usage of the devise. I use it to record a book I'm writing.

After going through two other recorders from different manufacturer's that either malfunctioned within 3 weeks or just didn't do what I needed I finally found the right one. The Sony has excellent sound quality, adequate onboard memory for what I do and a mini SD slot for expansion. Some of the functions are a little tricky to figure out in the field, that is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It should really be 4 1/2 .

Compact size, easy to use, play back was clear . Would be great for students

I purchased the Sony-PX Series Digital Voice Recorder to assist me with my duties as the church's secretary. Its ease of use is great thus far. The playback quality. I wish it had a noise-canceling feature to avoid background noises. However, even without the noise-canceling feature, the device works fine.

Love it. Simple to use. Good quality. Fits in a pocket.

Very clear sound. Battery life is great. Simple to operate. Voice activation is very precise.

This little unit is impressive in its capabilities. I am a writer, so I keep it on me to record random thoughts that pop into my head, but it does much more. I was sitting around with several friends trying to brainstorm some ideas for an upcoming weekend. Noone had paper or pen, so I pulled out my recorder, switched it to "meeting," and caught all the ideas. Later, we were able to go back, and not a single thought was lost. I have also found that it works well in big spaces and crowds.

the sound quality is very good , however I cannot figure out how to fast forward or rewind , i cannot find these functions in the paperwork - operating instructions either

I use mine in law enforcement. Picks up sound well and easy to operate. Works great when you have those complaints from people about how you handled a situation and you play the recording and what they said happen doesn’t match up.

This is a great little recorder - its compact size and basic use on the screen, are easy to use. It does all the basics that most audio recorders do. That said, yes, it lacks full capabilities that other higher-end voice recorders offer, but for the money, size, and somewhat relatively easy use, it gets the job done.

Great little voice recorder. My son uses it for his voice lessons and it's reasonably easy to use and works well. Feels like a high-quality device.

Used it to record a meeting. Once i finished the meeting then I listened to recording and it was crisp and clear. Recorder is easy to set up and to replay.

A very good buy. I bought it for two reasons. The first one is to compliment my part time photography business. With it I can record quick notes about the photos that I take - what they are of, how they were taken if in any special way with any special lens or other things about the photos. The second reason is to carry with me at all times, even if I am not taking photos and record other types of notes for myself later.

so, i purchased this recorder for recording lectures. It does the job very well. I did not try recording at long distance because i sit very close to lecturer. I like the extendable USB charging/data connection. I use rechargeable batteries and my computer charges them while the recorder is plugged into it (to manage recorded lectures). But here is what i don't like about it - it is big. I mean, it is not huge but it is bigger then the room in my shirt pockets. I am not sure why all the extra size for. Some of the lecturers don't like seeing the recorder on the desk but they are ok if you keep it in your pocket but, when i put it in my pocket of my shirt, it sticks out and it is kind of heavy. So, i do give it 5 stars and would recommend it.

The product works very well, the batteries last a long time. The recordings are easily downloaded through the USB port. Very simple use.
