It is a fairly easy device to use, however, the volume is not loud enough. You need to sit closer to the speaker than I anticipated in order to get a clear recording. I found that the playback feature takes you all the way back to the beginning rather letting you review the desired segment.

I use this instead of the Zoom H1N because it is easier to carry, simpler to operate, and has a built in usb connector for my computer. The audio quality is good although the auto gains will sometimes jack up the background noise when things are quiet.

The recorder works well with the downloadable app to save and review the discussions for meetings. File names can be edited which makes it possible to store different kinds of meetings. It is a good idea to have spare batteries available should the need arise.

The recorder performed satisfactorily with an external microphone to record heart sounds and bird calls. Works also for voice recordings with the internal microphone. I like the fact that the recordings can be used with other software for sound analysis while other recorders produce recordings that have to be converted to a usable format.

I used this voice-activated recorder to obtain information on my sleep pattern without having to pay big $ to have it done by a doctor. I was able to show that I have a condition at high altitude that is not evident at low altitude where I live. Testing where I live would have been worthless. Back to the recorder, it worked flawlessly!

I purchased this to record meetings. It's very easy to use and I really like that I can just pop the USB connector into my computer and download to a file. The recordings are clear. Background noise is minimal.

Works really well. I have tried this twice at meetings and was surprised how well it picked up the speakers. For the best audio playback use headphones, the audio quality is a lot better than the tiny speaker makes out.

I purchased this recorder to use in conjunction with a class assignment. I was able to fast forward to a particular section of the interview, as well as rewind to a portion I needed to hear again. The recorder has an attached USB which made it easier to move my recorded interviews to my laptop for easier transcribing.
