bought this for my mother and she loves them and comfortable

I had better expectation from this considering the brand name of SONY. It did not live up to my expectation. Sound quality is not bad, but not to the quality to match up its price tag. Also there is a low volume constant whining soundsomething like old AM radio noises which bothers me a lot. The ear cups are well designed, sit well on ears comfortable but overall I am disappointed with this product

I own a older model of the Sony Wireless Ear Headphones which were great. The new headsets sound is excellent and I do not hear any background noise!! I have a hard time hearing certain levels of sound but not bad enough for hearing aids and my husband really appreciates the new headphones so the TV is not blaring. The reason I have not given this a 5 star is because you must turn them off every time you remove them from your head. Being used to the older set I forget and the battery runs down just when I need them.The older set I have turn off when they are remove. Overall I would recommend them because of the great sound, very comfortable and blocking out the other noise in the room.

Bought this for my father-in-law so he could listen to TV via headphones without blowing out everyone else's eardrums in the room. These things serve their purpose and actually sound GREAT. He said they are extremely comfortable... and with volume controls on the headset itself, if he ever needs to increase or decrease the volume of what he's watching, the remote stays put - he just adjusts the headphones volume so the volume in the room remains the same for everyone else. Great product - and THANK YOU SONY!!

Bought these for my Father-in-Law who is hard of hearing in one ear and needed the TV up really loud to hear well. Set up was easy, once we purchased a 3.5mm Mini-to-RCA Stereo Audio Cable(wish it had come with it). Plugged in to the TV, put the headphones on and worked right away. Sound was really good. No complaints from my Father-in-Law and he can be picky. My only thoughts would be to include the more commonly used cable with the purchase and for an upgrade, if each side of the headphone could have a separate volume control. Very happy with the purchase.

Headphones work great, and am able to listen to our TV privately while the wife listens to the other TV on the loft. They have great quality sound. Would have given 5 stars, but occasionally they cut out for just a second.

Was looking for ear phones that I could use on my new tv. This was 2nd set purchased. First one was not compatible with Samsung tv even though was told they were. Good sound. Easy to set up.

needed new head set always a favorite fan for sony products no surprise here that the wireless headset was easy too setup as always sounds great very pleased with them

It is a great improvement over the TV speakers. They fit over the ears very comfortably and they have there own volume control.

We did need to purchase two additional items [Insignia™ - Optical/Coaxial Digital-to-Analog Converter - Black Insignia™ - 6' Toslink Optical Audio Cable - Black] for these to work for us. But now it is working well. My 94 year old MIL can listen at her volume, and we can mute the TV or turn it to our necessary volume. We've been needing this solution for a very long time. It does seem like they have some days when they need to charge for longer periods of time. Like every two days we are unable to use them.

I purchased these with a TV for my dad for Fathers day and Birthday, the headphones are nice, he has had a little trouble getting them to work but I think it was due to a dead battery, you have to put them on the charging cradle every once and a while, otherwise nice especially for my Dad who doesn't hear very well and has to turn the tv almost all the way up. They aren't top quality but definitely a Good Purchase

So far, this is the best wireless headset I’ve ever had, and this is my fourth one. My previous one, which served me well for at least ten years, was also a Sony, so I stayed with the brand. It’s easy to use, sounds terrific, and cancels extraneous noise better than any headset i’ve ever had—and it’s comfortable! If there is a downside, I had to supply my own cable to connect the transmitter to my media devices. My previous headsets came with such a cable, and one used adapters if the plug didn’t fit the jack on the device. That, fortunately, was a simple fix!

These headphones are spectacular. They keep out outside noise and provide a superior Sound for the listener. Best of all, other people in the room can set the volume to their own liking without disturbing the headphone wearer. Absolutely love these!

Found the headphones to be exceptional in quality and extremely comfortable wearing for long periods. Ideal for people hard of hearing and yet maintaining a comfortable level of volume for everyone else watching the same program.

I bought this for my husband who has slight hearing problems, especially with all the background noise bothering him while watching tv. This has really helped him understand more of what is being said. I've used it to listen to tv and even went outside and could still here it. The only "con" is it's hard to adjust the volume on the side.

This device is for good for watching TV shows. I do like the full range of volume control. The device seems to loss a little quality with music. My only complaint is with Best Buys. They sold me a repackaged or refurbished unit. I paid full price. They exchanged the defective unit with no hassles. Totally satisfied with new unit.

I bought this for a 90 year old woman who is experiencing some hearing loss. She hears the TV very well with this unit, much better than listening to the TV with hearing aids. Comfortable fit and decent deep sound.

This sound quality is superior and the fact no wires are draping across the floor for someone to trip over is deffinitly a big plus. I couldn;t be happier with these headphones.

For an older person the ease of placing the headphones on the charger is great. I can wander into other rooms and still receive the signal. The volume control is small and awkward to adjust when the headset is being worn. The earpads are comfortable, but the headband rests on the top of the head and causes some discomfort if used for extended periods of time. They do a good job of blocking extraneous noise and definitely help people with some hearing loss.
