Easy to set up and use. Great for listening to radio while on the move.

Somewhat impressed by the product in the package but as it turned out the sound quality and reception weren't too good.

I got this to listen to music at the gym. It has nice features, can be programmed, and I like that you can wear it on your arm, although it sometimes slips when doing arm weights. Big problem was that in the gym, all stations were filled with static except for one, which was just tolerable. I should have returned it for that reason, but waited too long.

I brought it to work out, it didn't last even a 1/2 hour.

I workout in health club surrounded by "tons" of building steel and concrete which does not affect quality of sound, reception at all. Club also has 4 TVs on different frequencies, all of which can be programmed on the radio with excellent reproductive sounds. Radio can be operated with one hand while working out and LCD display can easily be seen. Radio is very compact and appears to be sturdy and well built. The number of presets are more than enough for the fm and am stations in my area as well as the 4 TV frequencies. Headset is comfortable and easy to adjust. I find the arm band a little difficult to install on arm and adjust to prevent slipping down while working out. Hopefully with time, I will "learn" how to use ... A good radio for the money with some well thought out features for an active person.

This is one of the few devices that has managed to withstand any environment I take it into. Raining, not a problem. Snowing no issue. Dropped it by accident, just dust it off and keep on going. It is hard to find a sports device that can keep up with the abuse of the athlete but this one does it. I would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully it isn't discontinued.

This is a great am-fm radio with great quality of music sound you could find ! Very comfy on head. Feel light. Very good reception and easy setup for tunning. If you look for portable radio and want a good quality to enjoy so get this one !

Sony needs to take this back to the design room. The quality was really nice, however, wasted on the teardrop shape. I was never able to solve the problem with the volume constantly changing on its own caused by rubbibing the exposed dial against the arm or in the pocket. I thought about taping it to a fixed position but decided to return the unit, instead. "Sony needs the message"

This is a quality Sony product, with the best item being the headset which is included. It provides crisp, clear audio. You're able to preset enough stations to your liking, and I haven't found many flaws even after owning one for awhile other than losing reception in high-frequency areas which is expected.

I was trying to replace an earlier generation Walkman radio which had worn out. I initially tried two less expensive other brands of armband radios, but found both to be lacking in quality of reception of an adequate number of stations. So, despite having read a number of scathing reviews of recent Sony Walkman products (but not this specific model), I decided to try this one. I have to say that I've only tested, not really used, this radio, but the tests have me believing that this is a good quality product which gets good reception on both the AM and FM bands (haven't tried the weather band). It's more expensive than some competitors, but definitely worth more than the ones I tried.

This is by far the best armband radio i've purchased compared to two other manufacturers. The only thing that it should have had was a light for the night time so that you can see the presets as your walking. I still felt like it deserved a 5 star because it works really well, compared to others. Good job sony and thanks.

So lightweight with headphones that stay on even when running at high speed on the treadmill. Perfect complement for my iPod as I like to listen to AM radio talk shows at times.

I purchased this radio for running and all around uses. If you get better headphones you will be okay! When you change the battery (use Duracells) you have about 40 seconds to change the AAA battery before your presets gets wiped out. Now the tricky part about this device is how to set your selected radio stations (pre-sets) READ the included manual. Highly Reccomended.
