But the sub itself did not impress meyou can hear the bass but it lack of presence. I guess it is okay for Netflix. Butnif you looking for a very powerful sbwoofer, get something more robust!!

To resolve this issue, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
Press SW volume + or BASS + on the remote control of a soundbar to increase the subwoofer volume.
Set the night mode to off using the remote control of your soundbar.
If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test tone.

Not a bad subwoofer

It works well enough. But if you’re in the market and you have the room for it, I’d suggest upgrading to the SA-SW5.

Great Value Subwoofer

Better value than the Bose or Sonos Subwoofers. They may be better subwoofers, but for me, they are overpriced. I can't tell the difference.

Not really that good

I took a chance and was disappointed. The bass was not deep at all and noticeably cut in and out. I returned this and bought the SW5 that I originally set out to get. That is far far better and definitely worth the extra cost. This is ok if you cant afford the better subwoofer, but definitely not the best by any means.

I do wish sony had better volume controls for it instead of low, medium, and high. My Vizio soundbar has more control over the sound settings.
