Sony is the number one brand when it comes to sound. As far as a sub woofer goes, it could be a little better

Has a deep rich bass but having a hard time justifying the price over my last system

Bought the sw3 subwoofer to pair with my Sony Bravia 7 TV and Sony Bravia 8 soundbar. I gotta say the subwoofer disappointed me. I'm not too impressed with it. I probably should've gotten the sw5 instead.

Connection Issues.

We are still trying to figure out how to connect to our Sony Bravo soundbar. We downloaded the Sony app and its complicated. So unfortunately, we are not hearing the value yet.

Stopped working right after warranty expired. This basically cost me $30 per month to own.

So far very good.Good price. Comparable to most cheaper subwoofers
Hi RichardM, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with the SA-SW3. We're sorry to hear that you've had trouble connecting via Bluetooth and finding the correct sound levels. We're here to help. Please try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
About the issue with the sound, you need to make sure that the power indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green and then you can press SW + or BASS + on the remote control of your audio system to increase the subwoofer volume. Also, If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test tone using your audio system. In addition, you can perform a power reset on the unit. Just unplug it from the AC outlet, leave it unplugged for 1 minute and plug it in again.
