    upset that it does not connect to my receiver. it would be nice if this was compatible with Sony receivers.

    The quality and sound is not even close to Bose or Sonos, the app to adjust volume bass is really sad.

    Poor build quality.

    This is my second of these subwoofers, and they both failed for the exact same reason. The wiring of the internals was poorly done by the manufacturer. Simply using these caused a critically important connection to vibrate loose. I know it is a loose connection because, if I hit the area where the power light is located hard enough, it turns back on. Yet as soon as something with any bass hits, the connection breaks again and it shuts off. Bought the first in November 2022, it broke in December 2022, returned it January 2023 and left with a brand new one, it broke in April 2023. I would fix it myself, as it is just a loose connection, but these things are also designed to be impossible to self service. Just get a different subwoofer, maybe its bigger brother is actually well built?

    got SA-SW3 ($202+tax) openbox. It also easy setup, worked fine, but not loud enough, bass sound very low, hard to notice difference with bass and w/o bass.

    Scammed by Bestbuy again

    I bought an open box speaker that was listed as "Excellent". It arrived without the original packaging. Was scuffed in a few places and dented in one spot. It was shipped in a too big box and poorly wrapped in bubble wrap. Overall a poor experience. I should have know better that to trust them again. This was the last time though.

    TERRIBLE customer service via the call center, Management at store does not care either, took almost a month to get resolution.

      Let’s give a couple of troubleshooting steps a try to see if we can get things working:

      1. Make sure the subwoofer is plugged directly into a working outlet, not a power strip or surge protector.
      2. Try a different power cable if you have one handy.
      3. Unplug the subwoofer for about a minute, then plug it back in.
      4. Double check any wireless connections or pairing if you're using it with a soundbar. Reset and reconnect if possible.

      Press SW volume + or BASS + on the remote control of a soundbar to increase the subwoofer volume.
      Set the night mode to off using the remote control of your soundbar.
      If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test tone.

    Unit wont last more than 16 months. Ita a topic on Sony Community. My first one last a month now this one a little over a year. I switched feom samsung to all sony. I called sony support and no help. This is a waste of money. They dont back up their products. Hopefully get someone to help me out.

    Died after 16 months of light use. Searching online shows it's very common for it to just stop turning on after a year of use when the warranty is up. Do not buy this sub.
