It needs more bass rumble and is over priced. Quality is good and it merges nicely with the Sony soundbar. The overall sound quality is good though.

Press SW volume + or BASS + on the remote control of a soundbar to increase the subwoofer volume.
Set the night mode to off using the remote control of your soundbar.
If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test tone. Hope this helps and thanks for choosing Sony! -Sam

The Great Woofer
