It doesn't give off a ton of audio quality, but the amount of bass boom this thing carries more than speaks for itself. I can see myself enjoying this for a very long time. The lights coming off the back create wings on my walls. Playing call of duty has never sounded more appealing. The only negative thing I can say is that the aux inputs aren't very user friendly. (Especially for more modern technology) thankfully bluetooth somewhat makes up for that. But I wouldn't recommend this to anyone living in an apartment. My parents can hear the bass even at a low volume in the room next to mine. I'm not sure how it does at max volume. I only got to maybe 36 out of 62 before I decided I don't want to be deaf for the rest of my life. 5/5

I purchased the stereo for my daughter, I tried it out myself and it’s a Great system.

My first time to purchased this Sony - Shake Sound System and it’s really good,enough you’re neighbors knocking on your doorstep due to his loudness and great base sound, coz his/hers flower vase fells and others thing vibrates when playing music. My advice don’t pull to the Max volume, might next time Police knocking to your doorstep.

I bought this hoping for a sound system comparable to the muteki zx6 (which is the best stereo ever made), but it just doesn't have the sound or volume abilities I expected. Aside from that it's okay, the speakers are bigger than the bass is powerful, and the sound modes are a little strange. I recommend it still. The light show is pretty cool.

I bought this sound system to use for hosting bar trivia and parties/events. I pack it up and transport it in storage totes, set up, use it to play music and speak to the crowd for 2+ hours, and then unhook, pack up, and transport everything, two or three times a week. I have been very pleased with the product. The sound quality is better than the PA speakers and mixer setup that the other hosts generally use. The microphone volume is not as strong or adjustable as with a PA setup, but it is enough for medium to large restaurants depending on the acoustics. I have used predominantly Bluetooth but also the FM radio and the stereo RCA in from my phone, and the sound quality, all with good results. I have, however, experienced one or two issues with Bluetooth and I believe interference from too many other Bluetooth and/or WiFi devices nearby. When hosting an event with ~40 people, the system disconnected from my phone's Bluetooth and had to be connected physically. This is the only time that has happened, but other times there has been noticeable audio ticks which do not seem to be caused by overheating. It is not consistent in starting, or even remaining, so may be caused by an unknown factor. Setup and tear down are more complicated than a normal system because the lights are involved, and odd because the wires do not disconnect from the speakers, only the head unit. It's only been a few months, but the system seems to be holding up well to being constantly transported, set up, and unhooked. The lights are a fun addition to the setup, making them more unique and, obviously, eye catching than a normal system. They pulse along to the music pretty well, though not with tight sync and choreography, they just seem to be reacting to bass patterns as they establish themselves. It definitely requires a dark room to get the best affect out of them, as the lights aren't incredibly strong, but in the right settings they definitely enhance the experience. I don't have major complaints about the system, just small ones: - The cables: why aren't audio and lights on the same proprietary cable? If you aren't going to combine them, let the speaker audio cables have standard plugs so they can be replaced with any speaker down the line. - Optical audio input would be nice - Whatever is causing the ticking problem - The microphone input: plugging in or unplugging stops all sound output for a second, and the maximum volume is low - Guitar/Mic 2 input: I've not used this yet, but the fact that it shares one volume control for both mic inputs could lead to issues - The rear lights: Great concept, just good execution. They could use at least one more color, and maybe changing patterns/rotation - No mounting holes on the speakers. This means there's not a simple, stable way out of the box to get them on stands like you would do with a PA speaker.

The sound quality of this unit is fantastic. It's powerful, easy to operate, and is attractive.

Look, this thing is a stately, unassuming looking Beast. I gave one as a gift too. I connect it to my TV as surround sound which it does very well. I couldn't be happier with a purchase. I've had it over 2 years and it's been great. Bass is hard hitting without being overbearing. Tweaking the EQ and activating bass boat really takes it to another level. The lights are amazing and brilliant. Very very entertaining. You couldn't be disappointed with this product unless you just don't like excellent sound representation. I'm as happy as day one.

This system hits and hits hard. You get a cd player along with Bluetooth. You get a few sound presets and a manual preset along with flashing lights for a party effect. The sound is great and the bass is top notch. Sony continues to be one of the best companies out and they continue to impress. Great system.

I love using my sound system. This sony shake x10 Sounds awesome. It lights up the room when you turn on the led lights. Using the Bluetooth to hear your music makes it super. I love it. It's a great buy for those who love music. The name says it all. It shakes. Love it.

A little heavy on the bass sometimes, but there are plenty of options to adjus and the word SHAKE is there for a reason. Many equalizer settings, massive bass boost button, and very loud if you want it to be. It's a breeze to hook up to other systems-- I have mine connected to my samsung surround sound for nearly a gigawatt of power. The lights are awesome, and the karaoke functions are fantastic. Bonus, it basically functions as a legit electric guitar/bass amplifier and does a great job at it, which makes playing along a snap. I love this thing.

I bought one of these systems in 2018 so that I could host bar trivia, and I have hosted more than 200 shows since then. While it's not as flexible to setup as a normal PA or mixer setup, the sound quality is great and the pulsing lights are a fun extra element. I've used this setup at one-room karaoke parties and to fill large bars, and at anything less than a cavernous warehouse-style room, it does great. The biggest negatives for this product, for me, are mostly limitations which are unique to trying to host big trivia shows: the cables could be longer, the microphone/guitar audio isn't included in the audio out for daisy chaining, and 20-30+ smartphones in the same room can cause Bluetooth noise. Other than that, it's minor stuff: the whole kit is big and heavy together, and an HDMI or optical audio port would be nice. If my system needed to be replaced, I have yet to see any other $500 or less option that could make me question buying this again.

For the price great stereo great sound no issues works with Bluetooth no problem and for surround sound is very good

I was amazed by this sound system for it really blows you away and also the BT function is one of a kind for it does not experience delays

If you love to hear the bass, this model is perfect for you!...heavy bass, clear sound. I rarely give a review what I bought but this one I have to say. It has nice features... I like it has easy control app, pary y LED..COOL...again, GREAT BASS!

I purchased this item for my niece and the sound is awesome! The bass is the best!!! And the lights are the key to the sound of the music!!! I definitely will tell my friends this is the best stereo you would ever love!!! This is worth the price!!!
