Good shooting grip and remote mount

It comes with a mount for the remote viewer so you can see what you're recording. It also features a tripod stand built in the base if you want to do stationary self-blogging. Price is pretty reasonable as well. 4 stars instead of 5 because I would have preferred a way to attach an extension pole.

It holds the display screen/controller, is also a handheld grip and also opens up to become a tripod essentially transforming your action cam into a camcorder and so much more. If you go underwater with the controller on your wrist and the cam in another hand the signal won't connect so this I assume will eliminate that problem by keeping them close by.

You can take it in the water and will l work with both old and new live view remotes. And the fold out tripod is great for time lapse videos

The only con i can say is that it is missing an extender to go higher, but everything else is so easy and functional.

This item is great, it will actually work with any type of camera that uses a 1/4"-20 threaded mount... which is all most any camera on the market. I love the fact that it's not only a great shooting grip, but that it's also a fantastic tripod for static still shots or video. Made very solid and sturdy and is also waterproof for using it with my GoPro or your SONY Action Cameras. A great must have product from SONY!
