This was purchased during a sale for roughly $60. Excellent purchase for that price. The sound quality is great for the price bracket and it’s in competition with the jbl flip 4. Both go on sale for roughly the same prices, so it all comes down to price because this Sony is just as good as the jbl.

I love this speaker, I originally got it because it was the best mid priced bluetooth name brand speaker. Good quality, it gives you a warning when the charge is low. The speaker has been working for over a year and not one problem.

nice size and shape - good sound. Base is strong, highs could be clearer. Running one speaker at a time works, but getting two to run at same time is not easy. Took it to store and they got it to run two at once after much work - I still can not get two to connect at same time in my home.

I needed a portable small speaker to use in my classroom. Decided to try out the Sony SRS-XB21 while I was at Best Buy. I liked the ease of how simple it is to use this Sony SRS-XB21. Really liked how easy it was to use when taken out of box. The volume is a welcome surprise.

This speaker has a really fantastic sound. I love that. It sort of pulls you towards the music while it’s playing. I just didn’t expect it to sound so full when needed and bass heavy when needed. It truly does sound remarkable. It has great features I love it.

Sony comes through again. Even though this is not a big speaker the sound is big. The extra bass is a great addition. As usual, it has a very clean, clear sound. A bonus is the equalizer to further customize the sound. Many other features as well.

I use this speaker all the time! Really easy to setup to use with other devices using Bluetooth. So far no problems after I have gotten it wet either. I take it floating on the river. However, when playing at full volume battery tends to run down pretty quickly.

this is the second smallest of the line of sony speakers that are waterproof... amazing that it still kept playing when dropping it in a tub of water... for me, could do without all the blinking lights... thank goodness you can turn the lights off...

This is perfect for my needs! I love the color, character, waterproof, and standing options. Easy install. As explained to me at Best Buy, it's not for extreme sound lovers, however, it's very wonderfully functional. I just wanted easy and really good sound on the go. Check!!!

This is a great little bluetooth speaker with great sound. battery life is good( much better than Bose) and connectivity is great! Supposed t be waterproof, although I haven't tested it out yet.

I USE THE SPEAKER ALL THE TIME. IT IS SMALL BUT QUALITY IS VERY GOOD. I PLACE IT IN ROOM WHILE I DO PAPERWORK OR LAUNDRY. WE ALSO ENTERTAINED SOME FRIENDS AND PLAYED SOME MUSIC OUTSIDE ON PATIO. JUST LOVE THIS SPEAKER!

I like the Sony speaker...good sound quality and has blue tooth capability. I bought 3 of them to use in my office and connect them via "party chain" which I figured out how to do this from my PC. (I didn't have to download the app to use on my phone)

when I first got this litle speker,i wasn't sure about the quality and the sound.once I started using it. I was pretty amazed how powerful the Sony speaker sound.ill take it with me on vacation all the time.get it they are cheap!!

Bought this for my daughter to use in her dorm room, but of course we had to try it out at home first... While it doesn't seem as powerful as my Bose SoundLink, it is more than adequate at half the price (on sale) and the Bose isn't water-proof!

I went to Best Buy to buy somw Biae headphones for my daughter’s birthday. I ended it up buying a Sony Headphones for my daughter ane chose to bu a speaker for me. This one is awesome for price, sound great and looks great with the light it has.

Sony has really made its place in the world of portable speakers . I loved the original series and the newer version is even better . It’s completely submersible now and they did a good job at adding this feature without tarnishing the sound quality .

Sound quality is great. However battery gets nowhere near 12 hours more like 4 hours playing at medium volume. Use it by my hot tub and can easily hear the music over the running jets. Also it rolls over easily. Wish the feet were more pronounced to prevent this.

The speaker seem to work pretty good. Battery life lasts a good while. Pretty decent sound for how small it is. Downside is I do not like that blinding white blinking light. I wish there was a way to turn it off especially when you're trying to sleep.

This speaker has nice balanced sound to it. Not too overblown bass and not tiny sounding either. The downloadable Sony app seems to work fine (though is not necessary). The battery life button is helpful. The blinking lights can be turned off easily.

First, the good. This speaker has phenomenal sound and deep bass. Now the bad. The design allows it to easily tip over, especially if on a rickety table at a party. The link with other Sony speakers function is very flaky. I only got it to work once for me.
