Best Portable Bluetooth Speakers in Sub 500 Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Who would have thought that the cheaper version of Sony's portable Bluetooth speakers will be much better in terms of quality than the nore expensive Sony - SRS-XB33? Unbelievable. This little speaker pucnhes out very crisp sound and good base and is plenty loud. I compared it against all of JBLs and other Sony and Bose speakers, and this little fella came only second to Bose Sound Revolve II and the like in the series. This device is much more portable, elegant and is a pleasure to listen to. It has pretty sharp tremble, at the same time not compromising on the base. And it lasts for about 12 hours if not more. Highly recommend over other Sony portable Bluetooth speakers, JBL and Ultimate Ears's Megaboom series. For the price and the quality it is a steal.

Very sleek design that I find appealing. The ability to adjust the EQ with the Sony Music Center app is one of, if not the best feature since I enjoy bass but I don't want it to drown out the mid range and highs. Battery life states 12 hours but when listening in stereo mode with the volume around 50% I seem to get around 8 hours, so not bad. It's great for travel and fits in most places on/in your bag or cupholder! The only downside is the speaker is front facing so sometimes the sound can get a bit muffled when you walk to the side or behind the unit. I imagine purchasing a second one and paring them for true stereo would help with this issue. I think I may do that and purchase a second to use with the Sony Bluetooth Turntable.

It’s meant to be placed in a flat surface to get max performance with the bass, and it’s a lot of bass. Unlike other speakers this thing can take a lot more higher volume and bass before the other drivers begin to distort from the subwoofer. The paracord seems very durable and the hooking mechanism is fairly simple but I had to look at the instructions to know how it worked at first. It uses a usb-c charger port for convenience if you have other usb-c devices. There are two other unique modes like stereo mode to connect to another identical device to have a left and right channel, as well as party which can pair as many as 100 devices I believe so this thing is capable.

This product is a hit with excellent sound, waterproof, and ease of use. I have two JBL Charge 4 and 2, this speaker sound better than both. My Onyx Bluetooth speaker still sounds the best years later, but this is a close second. Now volume can get distorted at about 70%, my JBLs is about 50% for the Charge 4 so it's not all perfect. Can't fill a decent size room, my JBL Charge 4 can along with the Onyx but not the Charge 2. With that said, small setting, camp file, log cabin, basement, this is the perfect speaker.

Packs a nice amount of bass for such a small speaker (that fits conveniently in a cup holder or hangs from a hook.) Definitely download the Sony music app to tinker with additional settings on your phone. Battery life is good, too, charges a lot faster than it says in the manual! Highly recommend if you need a small portable speaker to put in your lawn chair while you're chilling on the lake this summer. (The speaker went on sale a few days after I purchased it, and Best Buy refunded me the sale amount. So, extra stars for a great purchasing experience!)

But in my kitchen, when I cook dinner each night, there is no sound system. I thought this looked like a good fit, and it is perfect! The quality of the sound is very good for a small speaker. The size is perfect for sticking discreetly in a countertop. The battery in this thing lasts forever! I could not be happier with this purchase! I will say, the blue color was a touch darker than it looked on screen, but not by much.
