I had thought about purchasing an OPPO player, then I find out that they are no longer making players. This was the best Blu-Ray player, I could find that did not cost $1000.00. The Panasonic and the Pioneer players cost a grand each. This player is great and worked out fine for me. I paired it with an LG OLED T.V. It works fine. Yes , buy this unit.

This does what it states. wish the remote control was lighted, for the price they missed on that item. Connection was easy to the TV. Bought a 4K HDMI cable.

I have had a few Blu-ray players over the years This is a bulletproof universal player that plays SACD discs with no problems 4K titles in particular are very clean on my Sony OLED TV I recommend this player to everyone that wants the best picture available

This Blu-Ray player is a great value at its price. It offers all the features you would expect from a product in this class; and is easy to set-up, with simple menus. The performance is outstanding on my 85" 4K UHD Sony TV and is fully compatible with it functions.

Outstanding player and super simple to install. Although I worried if I could manage the installation on my own, i was pleasantly surprise how easy it actually was. Streaming, picture and audio quality this player provides are all superb.

If you are looking for a 4K Blu-Ray player, this one has to be near the top of your list. It is an all-in-one player with the ES badge and a 5-year warranty. I did my research, and this was just what I was looking for.

Without diving into esoteric gear that can be priced double or more than this player, it is fantastic. I can’t imagine any casual home theater hobbits needing anything better. I use this with a SONY OLED 65” HDR 4K and it is stunning.

Beautiful picture in Blu-ray, awesome picture in 4K . Complements the Sony 4K Tv using the same remote for both . Picked up high speed HDMI cables for sound to sound bar and video to Earc on Tv .

Needed to return old Sony 700 player back due to multiple malfunctions. Decided to go a step higher with this one. So far no freezes or skips. Very sharp piece of equipment. Very happy with this purchase.

Solid performer, works with all of my discs! I like how quickly it boots and loads disc menus. Docking a star since Dolby Vision requires manual configuration and seems terribly integrated.

This player I have paired with my Samsung QLED 4k tv. You actually get the feeling that you’re in the picture. The surround sound with the great picture is really unbelievable.

Excellent player. Fast load time. Plays my SACD's without a hitch, which is the biggest reason we bought it. Stunning video quality on our Sony 75 inch display.

The major complaint I have with this piece of equipment is the remote. It is clunky and doesn't work well with my TV. In theory, you can use the remote to change your TV from, for example, the cable box to the the blue ray player. Good luck with that. Maybe it will work with a Sony TV, but not a Panasonic. True you can move a cursor back an forth between the cable box to the Blue Ray player, but then try to actually select that choice. Not so much. Otherwise it is an OK unit, but not a great one.

Picture 4, sound 5. Picture could have been better. That is why I gave 4/5. Sound is high end. Very happy over all. Quality is great.

Does it all. Easy interface. Controls reliable. Excellent audio with Blu ray or cds. Very good visuals. A solid choice.

Made all my movies look fantastic. Makes movies on the Xbox and PlayStation look like your steaming them. And with a home Surround sound the audio is top. Notch

Quite pleased with this unit. The Sony ES line is in my opinion the right way to go when you want a solid piece which will outlast all others out there.

I was having problems with the Sony 800 with losing picture and replaced with this one. I found out it was my cable, and now this player works great. Love the picture.

SONY - UBP-X1100ES - 4K ULTRA HD HI-RES AUDIO WI-FI BUILT-IN BLU-RAY PLAYER - BLACK I purchased this device because it played both blu-ray and DVD’s. I own a lot of movies that are not on Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV, or Prime Video (of which I am subscribed to all of them), so I needed something to watch them on. Plus, I purchased a new Samsung 4K television from Best Buy during their Black Friday Sale, on November 2019, and I wanted to get the full 4K experience. The HDMI Cable I purchased for this is the AUDIOQUEST - CARBON 10’ 4K ULTRA HD HDMI CABLE- CHARCOAL/BLACK.
