I don't have a 4k TV. I'm a big fan of Sony Home Theater Products, this player has exceed my expectations. It worth the Money!

easy to use plays anything you put in there. Matched it with a Sony 77" tv running through a Yamaha 3080 receiver for sound. nice

The expensive it is the more it's worth it in the end this 4k player works great love the outcome of the picture quality and how it can play any movie

Compared to what I had there was no comparison. The price might be a little more but the color and definition of the picture speaks for itself.

Wow what a device my only down side I’d say it’s missing the smart/streaming apps but boy what a clear picture and sound

I purchased this to replace an old Panasonic BluRay player. The difference is astounding. Good price and very high quality player.

its a great product just very pricey and it seems a little too simple. Performance wise though it has to be one of the best out there.

The remote control stinks. It's flimsy, poorly designed, and cheap for such an expensive player.

Couldn't be happier with the quality. Haven't tried the PAL to NTSC conversion yet, but nice to know I have it if I need it

Very close to the OPPO 105 and I did a side by side with films and CDs, all it needs are XLR connectors.

Ok so im a Sony snob lol... this is simple as far as the menu. no options other then netflix, amazon. Don't really care about any of those, just care about the ability to play 4k videos. this thing has played every 4k download I've gotten so far and plays it really well. never get a corrupt file or unrecognized format which is the only reason i upgraded. Personally i love that my Sony TV matches with it and can use it for Stereo system with HDMI.

Yea, I saw other reviewers mention that this player will freeze during playback, but I was skeptical. Well, I experienced it too. I didn't have to power-cycle or anything like that. It would just randomly freeze the video and/or sound for a few seconds and then start playing again, on its own. It wasn't a problem with the discs - I could replay a scene that froze and it wouldn't freeze the next time. The freezing was random. It doesn't occur very often, but it's enough to ruin the experience. I will add that the picture and sound are excellent. Seems like a well-built player overall, and maybe Sony will fix that freezing problem someday (with firmware?). Still, I can't recommend this to anyone after encountering this issue.

Was expecting an Incredible experience and after setting up Blu ray Froze and tv screen went black. No Remote controls worked. Couldn’t open disc tray. Had to unplug and replug ac power plug 5 X. Absolute rubbish for $500!!!! I Don’t Recommend and have read reviews of multiple people experience same. Avoid this product!!!!

Wow! amazing pictures and sounds from this 4K player. I am very happy.

An excellent 4k Blu-ray player the fact that it plays SACD makes even better
