Love this 4K player. Crisp clean video and sound is amazing. Only con I can think of is that you can’t download any additional apps. Only has a few preinstalled apps.

Needed to return old Sony 700 player back due to multiple malfunctions. Decided to go a step higher with this one. So far no freezes or skips. Very sharp piece of equipment. Very happy with this purchase.

This replaced my oppo 203. Offers the same image quality as the Oppo, plus a more seamless experience since my entire home theater set up is Sony.

Excellent player. Fast load time. Plays my SACD's without a hitch, which is the biggest reason we bought it. Stunning video quality on our Sony 75 inch display.

It works. Plays SACD. BUT- The first 4k disk I tried to play froze during playback. I thought it could be the brand new disk was defective. Then it froze again on another disk of the set, and then it didn't freeze during a replay of the same scene later. For such an expensive piece of equipment, I would never have thought. PASS

Very easy to set up. very easy to use. The picture quality is amazing! I cannot wait to use it on my new 77 inch Bravia to get the maximum resolution!

Does it all. Easy interface. Controls reliable. Excellent audio with Blu ray or cds. Very good visuals. A solid choice.

This player I have paired with my Samsung QLED 4k tv. You actually get the feeling that you’re in the picture. The surround sound with the great picture is really unbelievable.

Quite pleased with this unit. The Sony ES line is in my opinion the right way to go when you want a solid piece which will outlast all others out there.

Wow what a device my only down side I’d say it’s missing the smart/streaming apps but boy what a clear picture and sound

Great Blue Ray Player , upgrade from older Oppo player , nothing but good .... not going to get a better unit in this price range

Bought this 3 weeks ago, i set it up using the hdmi 1 for video and hdmi 2 for audio. The picture was amazing on my Sony oled and the sound was incredible on my 5.1 channel Bose. But i had to return and exchange then finally retuned the second unit because in the middle of watching any type (4k or Blu-ray), the movie freezes and the whole unit turns off after about a minute. This happened on the 1st and 2nd unit that i decided to return.

This product is great. Everything seems to be working fantastic. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

I have the xbp1000e I needed another player and went with this one. It has all the features I needed. Smooth running, quiet, a good quality player

Purchased to match my Sony 85" display. Desired common control between player and display. Works great for music cd's also.
