Nice compact with good Bass

Sturdy, but a little heavy, which isn't a bad thing. The design is a little weird with the lanyard, but you can buy some S-clips, or similiar, and make it work. Haven't tried the stereo setup with a second one, but would be willing if the price drops.

Pretty nice speaker

This speaker gets loud and the quality is super crisp. We mostly use it for when we're playing tennis or relaxing but it's been great regardless of the environment we put it in.

At the same time, we definitely hear you on the battery life. To help you get more playtime, try turning off the ULT button (Bass Boost) when you don't need that extra punch, or lowering the volume slightly, as both can help the battery last a lot longer between charges.
