    Very loud for price range! Was better than what Sony had in the same price range. Needs some type of strap rope or handle.

      Regarding the volume, sometimes the audio source itself can affect the overall loudness. We recommend checking the volume on the device connected to your speaker, as well as the speaker's volume control.     We bought this for a party and did it's job. However we have a Bose speaker that's slightly smaller and this Sony didn't match clarity base.
