Two Speakers = Incredible Stereo Sound

The sound is crystal clear with rich bass, and pairing them for stereo mode creates an amazing immersive experience. Bluetooth connects instantly, battery easily lasts a full day, and the water-resistant design makes them perfect for outdoor trips. The modern design with LED lighting adds a fun touch to any gathering. Absolutely worth it and I highly recommend them

Great price (at least at the time of purchase). Loud, clear sound. Deep bass. Lights are a nice touch. The strap helps with portability, as this thing is a mini beast. Really happy with my purchase.

Solid performer. Must buy when on sale!

Avoid paying full price as your experience might be construed a bit. For the 250 range this speaker hits hard and carries an excellent sound up to around 80% where the DSP limits the bass response a bit. Major positive is you don’t experience distortion and it gets really loud outdoors. Just know the speaker has its limits. Solid performer against the job extreme 4 and to my ears max volume sounds better. Ult option 2 boosts highs and lows so you might enjoy ULT option 1 more if you are craving deeper bass. Major downside is that even with a custom eq, you can’t adjust the speaker to sound any better than either of these modes so I find myself just using either Ult option. Battery life is great and I enjoy the lighting and fairly flat sound profile. Great speaker outdoors and will serve you well for indoor parties if you place near a wall to help out the low end. Two units provides an amazing stereo sound and I highly recommend if you wallet allows it.

Ive owned plenty of JBL speakers since the first flip came out. But Sony really nailed this one. I get better battery life and better sound quality compared to the Xtreme 3. The light show is something I never thought would make a speaker look more appealing. Very satisfied.

Full Outdoor Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The true might of a speaker isn't whether it fills a room, but whether it can broadly bathe a pool deck or outdoor patio with a depth of sound - and when the Field 5 is kept in the ULT1 and ULT2 Bass Boost modes, this speaker absolutely does it. The sound is exceptional, the end-cap bass woofers move the air, the highs and mids shine through, and the sheer (unexpected) weight of the unit means kids aren't going to knock it over or kick it into the pool. House, rock, pop, R&B - this speaker handles it all with ease without even having to go into the Sony app and messing with EQ settings. To me, "loud" isn't a measure of speaker performance, but a benefit if the core performance is there - the onboard amp performs great with little distortion and yes, the Field 5 is more than loud outdoors. The speaker is so heavy, and the width makes it hard to grab and handle, so while buyers may not think the included strap is necessary, it actually is and makes transporting the speaker a lot easier. I was going to buy the water "resistant" Marshall Killburn II (after owning two Marshall Stanmore's which are 10/10 amazing), but the water "proof" feature on the Field 5 was more important in my case. Overall, it's definitely worth the $267 (with tax).

Now I bring this speaker whatever place I go on vacation. Its a little heavy, but the strap makes it easy to carry.

Ult Field 5 Review

Battery life is great for about 9 to 10 hours depending on if Ult mode is being used and the lights are on. You'll get 6 hours on full party mode with bass enhanced mode on. You gonna feel the bass in your soul when this goes off. This speakers bass and clairty is better then almost every other speaker ive heard at a better price. Has built in aux cord reverse charging and can link up to 100 sony speakers via bluetooth.

I originally bought a sonos move 2 and the connectivity was a disaster. It would appear in the app then disappear then reappear then disconnect. Apparently its a longstanding issue with sonos and has leas to multiple executives being fired. Same yourself the hassle, get this speaker. Its so good. Crystal clear ar high volumes. Bass is natural and competes with jbl. My primary use is on a pool deck and it fills the area easily. It also easily connected to the outdoor tv via bluetooth. It works seamlessly and sound is grand. Watching a baseball game and you will feel like you are in the game. I’m a believer. Sony has delivered.

Fills the room and/or spreads sound through the backyard well. Looks great with the LED lighting. Seems that the bluetooth stays connected for a long distance, which is great so I can keep my phone in my pocket while not worrying about connecting to the speaker.

We used this speaker for a friend’s room party and oh my goodness!! The amount of compliments and how clear the music was accompanied by the bass!! Theres literally no cons in regards of this speaker to us! Sony has really changed my mindset when it comes to getting speakers because I was all for JBL until we gotten the ULT 5! Sony on top of the game!
