WOW - Lightning Fast

I transferred 35 GB (bytes) of data in 2 minutes and 13 seconds. (USB3.1 port) This is way faster than the transfer rate from the camera to computer. Having an XQD reader is actually a requirement for Nikon cameras to be able take advantage of firmware updates. The lightning fats data transfers are an added bonus. Just plugged it into my computer and it worked, did not even require downloading drivers.

Fast transfer

Now, I’m glad that I did. Transfer time seems to be cut in half without any loss of data.

Does what it needs to

I will say that other reviewers are correct in saying that it does get warm when plugged in, even if you’re not transferring any data, so do keep that in mind. It takes a XQD and SD card and reads insanely quick. I transferred 10 GB quicker than any SD card reader, but I attribute that to the XQD card’s Read/Write speeds. You cannot go wrong with it, even at the price.

No more worries

With this additional ready I don't have to worry any more. I can leave this in my camera but and use it when I'm traveling which is not as much as I would like right now but in the future I hope to use it a lot more!

This XQD card reader works

It was easy to use and worked well. The computer automatically read the card reader when plugged in, Nd it was easy to transfer files.
