Excellent audio recording, with a clear voice. Two stereo speakers gives a great sound and enough memory that can help me to record many hours.

Very nice slim recorder that has bars that indicate sound is being recorded. Easy to use and really like the usb plug on the end to plug right into the computer.

I bought this recorder to document business meeting. At one of my meetings it was a very large room but my recorder was still able to even pick up people on the other side of the room clearly. Battery life on the device is above-average. But one of the features that I love the best is that it has a built-in USB connector. No more losing connector parts.

Bought this recorder to use as a backup device in court. It works even better than the audio that comes through my court reporting program. Needless to say, my program audio has now become the backup. This recorder is also super easy to use, which is great, because I am not great with electronics. All in all a great purchase.

I was initially using my iPhone to record lectures but I notice it was very sensitive and catches all kinds of noises. This recorder will filter white noise and my professor’s voice was very clear. But I was using the LPCM 44.1 kHz which requires a big storage. I had to use 64gb to make sure I have enough space. The MP3 192kbps records clearly too but I just like the LCPM better, its the reason I bought this anyways. This is perfect for students but I just don’t know if this is affordable for most students. I got this on sale and I got certificates so it was not hard for me to decide.

Love this little thing, it’s pretty compact and records very clearly. I also found another use as you can connect an aux cable into the microphone and record audio from a laptop and such. It comes in handy for those YouTube videos explaining a tough subject! But 4 stars because of the price, I feel like it’s a tad bit overpriced.

This recorder works exactly as planned and as a bonus Beat Buy matched a competitors price as well. Good sound and easy to use. Battery life is excellent as well.

Battery lasts longer than Olympus recorder. Sound quality is good. The price is high for normal daily use. Remember you can always use your cell phone to record any sound or voice. This device is designed to record musical instruments or concert. All you need is lecture or voice recording, this device is overkill.

I have used several voice recorders before in the past, especially for college courses, and SONY has always come out on top as my favorite brand due to their technologies in audio. This newly released model is great for anyone looking for a slim, simple, and modern digital voice recorder. It is easy to use, very slick looking especially the black color, and a very useful USB connection built into the bottom of the recorder.

I have used this digital recorder to tape lectures at school and at business meetings , Every time I have played it I could hear a clear voice without sounds that most of the time make difficult to hear and understand. I congratulate myself for having bought such device. in few words the recorder is very good. Let me say something about the instruction manual included in the package, I have had to consult several times Sony page in Internet to get complete information , it would be great that all the instructions and explanations could be included in the manual

I love this recorder, it’s small enough to tuck into any pocket and records great quality audio. Also has built in usb , plugs into any usb device. Highly recommend it!!

I've been using this recorder for about a month and have used it quite a few times. It's very easy to use and does everything I want it to do. I download the recordings to my computer to listen them. I think it's a good quality recorder and I'm very happy with it.

Bought this to record proceeding at a meeting. Works well has decent range.Picks up voices well in back of room. Good battery life for 3 hour plus meeting.Easy to operate and to charge.

I use this device to record the audio of me teaching class. Then, I merge the audio into my video of the same class. This is a drastic improvement over the audio captured by the video camera that sits far away from me. It allows various file formats and settings and is very easy to use. No special installation is required. Just plug it into your computer, open it like you would a USB drive, and copy the audio files to your computer.

Great little electronic, easy to use. Does an excellent job of recording one’s voice however was a bit pricey. Features are nice too.

I desperately needed to take notes of a meeting with my publisher. This handy little recorder delivered. I wanted to make sure I didnt miss a word. It was handy, convenient, delivered great sound. The staff was wonderful, answering my questions without condescension and made helpful suggestions. All in all it was a satisfying experience.

Helps to enable note takings at Long meetings. Sure that other uses could be conceived. Charges easy with internal computer connection.
