This Sony digital voice recorder is very good in recording you tube music and burning to a blank cd. I've tried other digital voice recorders and they are not as good as this one. The sound quality and ease of use is far better than other recorders out there. Well worth the price.

My second. Like the fact that it charges off of USB. No more lugging batteries around with me. Have used it exclusively. Small and easy to store. Only problem, screen is fragile. Get a case for it. Good quality recordings allowing it to download to speech recognition systems.

It's a great and user friendly device. I was able to follow the instruction manual without an complications or confusion. I was worried about how well it would pick up the audio and it does great. I tested it prior to using it for work by whispering while sitting at the table, and I was able to play back and hear everything I said clearly.

I bought this for recording my college classes. Works great and easy to use.

I purchased for class lectures. It work perfectly in classroom setting picking up lectures during note taking. I can go back and hear the entire lecture perfectly. The USB connection allows for quick access and down load of lecture and charges while connected to computer.

I am so happy with this recorder for the quality and the price! Try it you won't be disappointed!

Great for taking minutes at a meeting of about 75 people.

Perfect for taping classes so I can pay more attention to the instructors instead of trying not to miss important details of the lecture. The recording is clear even at a distance. Small enough that I can have it on my desk to catch every word, and still allows me to copy the teachers notes written on the board.

The item is small and compact, although, it is not concealable as I would like it to be. Sound quality is average. Features are ok but not intuitive to find and modify settings. Even if you read the manual, it is extremely confusing. It shows that was not written by an English speaking person. The worst drawback of all, is BATTERY LIFE. TOO short. I would prefer one with replaceable batteries, instead of charging it. If you are somewhere and you cannot re-charge it, you are out of luck. I would have returned it, but it passed the time limit, until I had enough time to use it fully.

Used this for interviews and to record atmospheric qualities of different locations. The sound quality is actually really good for the size of the mics. I would definitely recommend this for on the go recording.

I had done some research and was going to buy the Zoom H1 but decided to give this a try and with how small it is, and the sound quality it captures with a lav mic it was worth every penny! Would definetly recommend this product if you're thinking about buying it.

I use this to record research interviews, and it is perfect! The controls are easy to navigate, and the playback is high quality. There are also tons of extra features to help with transcription.

This is one of the best recorders. It is very small and records professionally for its size. The only down side is that the battery is not replaceable. I hope it will last a few years until it's battery dies. I will see.

Overall this item was a good purchase. It is small and easy to carry, it was not complicated to use. It’s looks and construction are decent. The only problem I found was it picked up background noise, which made it hard to get clear voice recordings. Overall I found this product decent.

This little device works great - and I don’t need to keep buying batteries. Probably want to also buy a microphone depending upon your use. It will work great for dictation without a mic.

This is a sleek designed digital recorder that has great quality recording. Works well in a conference room setup with even picking up voices from people sitting far away.
