FM Radio Antenna Only Picks Up 1 Station

The only 2 issues I have is that the custom equalizer does not have adjustment to get as loud as the preset equalizer options. The second issue is a bigger issue and I would have given 5 stars is this was not an issue. I only pick up 1 FM radio station and it is not 100% clear all the time. With other radios I have I can pick up most all local radio station with little to no static which is 12 stations. This is frustrating as I am a radio person.

Thanks for your feedback on your experience using the MHC-V71. While we're glad you like how loud enough it is for indoor and outdoor parties, we're sorry about the issue you are experiencing regarding the tuner. You can actually store up to 20 FM stations as your favorite stations. If the FM station is not clear or stations cannot be received, please try following the troubleshooting below to isolate this issue.
• Connect the antenna properly.
• Change antenna location and its orientation to obtain good reception.
Please note that radio may not be received depending on the radio wave conditions or the housing environment in your area. For more details, please see "Listening to the radio" of the manuals (page 24).

For years, I tried to put some music to our family and friend gatherings with never satisfactory enough results: volume too loud (for small groups) that are not loud enough when more people arrive to the party, using the karaoke, trying to make radio, cd and music in music banks being reproduced without connecting each separate player with eternal wires…Thanks to the Sony audio systems all those problems are absolutely solved for good. The Sony audio system fits in a corner of my party, with powerful and clear sound, delivers with same quality a radio FM station (wire antenna added), a CD (CD player is part of it) and with every single device connected to it by Bluetooth. With couple of plugs for the mic and a guitar, you could also think in your next karaoke night. Lights are included in the tower so add an additional touch of ambiance that I like. Finally, it’s a very simple piece that doesn’t require a complicate learning curve, my 8 y-o is now volunteering as our family dj. Let me also mention that the features added to empower your DJ are also nice and well considered by the family: with prerecorded sounds, changing voices, drummer… you have a lot added in this kit. In the box you have your remote that I didn’t use too much because most of the time, I prefer directly to do the adjustments in the unit or with the app in the phone, but I guess that could be nice if the party is very crowded. I don’t always like it but in this case, I would recommend downloading the Sony app that allows you to have a management capacity over the unit, music selection included and to combine more than one Sony speakers as part of your reproduction system. For me it has not be a problem, but this is a bulky piece (not a portable equipment at all) that probably could scare you if you are living in a small apartment due to its size. If you consider however, that done in a high quality (black color) material, has a very discrete visual impact in the house. It’s going to be in a central invitee in next week thanksgiving family reunion.

Great addition to the house

The app is great but the gestures I still cannot figure out. You will never find the wattage output, sony made sure to hide that info but trust me it has way more than you need.
