I have sent an email to www.sony.com/support and we have not had any response at all. My question is, realizing there is an owners manual you can read, it can be a little intimidating to let’s say less technical buyers. I would like a video that shows step by step how to set this unit up and use it! I don’t think that is asking to much and I know that if you go to “YOU TUBE” you are going to get comparisons NOT good quality information that I need. Can Geek Squad Help? I pay for the service. Thanks in advance! Also, I returned the V21 to get this and I had added the extended warranty. It was my understanding that when I exchanged for this unit it just transferred. Is that right?

Big speaker, big sound!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is not a bookshelf speaker. This is a BIG speaker with a ridiculous amount of inputs and options. My wife runs a non-profit organization that hosts many community events and the Sony V71 speaker is perfect. With Bluetooth and Microphone inputs she can play music and have an external microphone at her disposal. There are things, such as the drum option and lights, that we will probably never use but for a music machine with a microphone connection this unit is hard to beat. The sound quality is excellent and the volume is plenty to fill a 150x100 meeting hall, probably more. My only complaint would be that the microphone volume doesn't go low enough. While doing karaoke the volume of the microphones is very consistently louder than the background music.

I didn't want to get some multipiece stereo system that was a big setup and space-eating thing. She's happy so everyone involved is happy! I bought it open-box which meant big savingss.

We took it out of the box and plugged it in and the lights came on shining accross our living room. This is so much fun! There's so many functions that it's taking a bit to learn them all. You can plug in a guitar and a microphone for karaoke. It can be used with sony's music app on your phone to change the equalizer. I tried to increase the bass, but it's still not as much as you would expect with that giant speaker in front. It also plays CDs and radio surprisingly! The top turns into a sound machine. This is just a fun party speaker!

I have a GPX unit that has video! I paid $80.00 for it! So disappointed! For the price of this unit it should have a video hook up.

You can connect this audio system to a TV. Connect to the audio output jacks of a TV or an audio/video equipment. The sound is output through this system.
