It’s say’s nothing in the Manuel I have no lights or sound it’s not connected to anything else’s. I used it about 5 times. And now no one can answer my problem with this speaker. Wow now what It say I can’t return it which I don’t want to just need this to restart or exchange....

Not only is this speaker great for music, it also features football mode for a new type of game-watching experience, and connections for easy guitar or mic for karaoke. . Fun entertainment unit with weak sound.

Instructions were not very clear but can be figured out with some trial and error. The lights are not responsive to the music. The sound is very average and the bass is weak. The connection to smart TV required use of RCA inputs which will require an adapter. Can only be used with one microphone.

We value your input regarding the built-in battery feature and appreciate the feedback. This Audio system needs to be plugged into the wall outlet. It does not have a built-in battery.
You might want to check these Sony home audio system that can be charged with built-in battery: GTK-XB90 and GTK-XB60.

It played great and I loved it. On Sunday I turned the speaker on but it wasn't working. I changed plugs etc. Eventually had to return it.

Open box not always a deal

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my eye on this product for a while now and but was very unhappy after purchasing this unit because unfortunately there were none in the store, so I bought an open box that was offered which I've done in the past and been extremely happy because I know open-box usually means someone was unsatisfied with the product and just returned it but that was not the case here the unit was missing the remote/ antenna and was scratched up which I realized once I got home, so after ordering a new remote and unable to find an antenna there was no true savings I could have gotten the unit online for cheaper had I waited!

Sony V71 High-Power Audio System with Bluetooth

But, it terms of functionality, it's not that great. The maximum volume is NOT high at all, very disappointed in that aspect. The Bluetooth connectivity is alright, but also disappointing because it can only connect to one one blue device at once and it doesn't remember the device in its memory. Which means once the unit is turn off and turn back on, one has to manually reconnect the unit to bluetooth device. The DJ hand gestures platform is chaotic, or very delayed or confusing.

GESTURE CONTROL sensor when you perform the swiping motion. Perform the swiping motion at a slower speed. For controlling the operations for PLAYBACK, DJ, SAMPLER and KARAOKE mode, see "Gesture Control" on (page 32) of the manuals for more details.

You can connect to the system from a paired BLUETOOTH device in all functions when the system’s BLUETOOTH signal is set to on. The BLUETOOTH signal is turned on by default.
Note: You cannot perform the following operations when BLUETOOTH signal is set to off:
— Pair and/or connect with BLUETOOTH
device
— Use “Sony | Music Center”
— Change the BLUETOOTH audio

With the speaker's MEGA BASS function, you can reinforce bass sound and create more powerful sound. Press MEGA BASS repeatedly to select “BASS ON”. The MEGA BASS indicator lights up.
Additionally, you can adjust the sound settings of the speaker to tailor-fit the sound quality to your needs. Please refer to pages 35-36 of this link for more information:

Thanks for taking the time to review your V71 with LIVE sound and 360 lights. We value your input regarding the loudness or sound level output of the unit. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your speaker. The speaker is capable of loud, clean sound for a broad range of venues or settings where portable music reinforcement is desired, and it is expandable for more flexibility.
Please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune your V71 and maximize the volume to your liking. There is even an EQ. Try to increase the volume on your source device first, then adjust the volume using VOL+/–. You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission.
