You cannot adjust their levels independently of one another. Kids enjoy it, but I'm not sure I would recommend it.

• Do not touch the cabinet if it has been used continuously at a high volume because the cabinet may have become hot.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation holes.
By default, the automatic standby function is turned on. Press OPTION then select AutoSTBY to turn off the automatic standby function. For more information, please access the link below.

Dead on arrival

The main touch functions on top of the system are non functional. Went through all the troubleshooting of trying different wall plugs but it wouldn't power on. I live about an hour away from the nearest best buy so this thing is gonna be a pain to return

The lights hurt your eyes way to brite. The sound is disappointing overall I wish I could return it. I bought a JBL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER RIGHT AROUND THAT TIME IT HAS WAY BETTER SOUND AND EASYER TO OPERATE.

To turn off the Party Light and Speaker Light, press PARTY LIGHT repeatedly to select “LED OFF”.

Plugged it into multiple outlets around my house and no power. Now that I have this problem I looked up problems for this unit and a lot of people get units that don’t power on.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We regret to learn the power does not turn on. Check if there's a light indicator on your stereo system after you complete each step.
1. Check that the AC power cord (mains lead) is connected securely.
• Remove any surge protector.
• If it still won't turn on, try a different wall outlet.
• Make sure that your device is set to the correct voltage for your area.
- Some devices have a 110 to 220 voltage switch where the default setting is 220V. Verify that this switch is set to 110V.
2. Press and hold the POWER button, and unplug it from the wall outlet at the same time.
3. Release the POWER button.
4. Make sure that your device has enough ventilation.
5. Plug your device back into a wall outlet
6. Turn on your device.
7. If applicable, reset your device.

After bringing them home and trying them was disappointed with the sound output and bass, return to Best Buy and decide to pick up this the v71 . This thing hands-down Blowed those pair of speakers away! This unit has great bass and very loud sound very clear vocals! Anyone wanting a great party speaker you will definitely not be disappointed with this! With volume at 3/4 is about as loud as you can take in my family room which is huge! Also has another note Best Buy return policy is awesome thanks!

It has just about every input you can possibly use with the extra edition of double mic ports for karaoke. I love this feature! I crank this up, and the sound is fantastic. Easily fills up any space that I could possibly put it in. And the modes compliment all types of music. The lighting effects are mesmerizing and my daughter happens to love them. The only downside I see is I wish that it had a cord keeper and a spot to store the remote control when storing the unit. Definitely a fun addition for any party you could possibly do. I also like the chain speaker mode to connect to my other Sony speakers in case I want to do multi-room audio. Honestly, there isn't much negative I can say about this unit. Everything thus far has worked seamlessly with little effort. It has exceeded my expectations. Great speaker!

Thanks for taking the time to review your V71 with LIVE sound and 360 lights. We value your input and appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately, the MHC-V71 does not have a built in battery. You will need to connect it directly to the wall outlet for power. This speaker reinforce bass sound and create more powerful sound (MEGA BASS). You can Press MEGA BASS repeatedly to select “BASS ON”. The MEGA BASS indicator lights up.
NOTE: When the audio source does not contain much bass sound, the bass sound may not be audible.
To ensure an optimal listening experience, download the Sony Music Center app to adjust and control your sound settings to your preference. You can also raise or lower the levels of specific frequency bands, then store the setting in the memory as “CUSTOM EQ”. Please refer to page 36 of the manuals (operating instructions).
