The one thing I was disappointed about was that it wasn’t cordless because I read it online that it was rechargeable (that’s why I took one star away) other than that it is very lit.

Unfortunately the MHC-V71 does not have a built in battery. You will need to connect it directly to the wall outlet for power. You might want to check these Sony home audio system that can be charged with built-in battery: GTK-XB90 and GTK-XB60.
