The only reason it's not a 5-star is that, from time to time, it has connection issues with devices (only for a second). It stays in place while active, has a good battery life, and all around is a good earbud for the pricepoint.

I have had quite a few different kinds over the years in my search for the "perfect ones for me". Common issues I've had are difficulties getting them to connect to my device, not fitting in my ear correctly, poor sound qualities and the thudding noise that I hear through them when I walk or workout. My first pair of decent earbuds were the Sony WF-SP800N. They had a stabilizer piece that fit in my outer ear to help hold them in place. They were relatively easy to control using the controls on the sides. I use another brand that are much smaller. Their small size fits well in my ear and doesn't fall out. When I received the Sony WF-C710N I was excited to try them. They are slightly smaller than the model 800 I previously had and much larger than my preferred earbuds. The box includes a USB-C cable, 4 extra assorted sized silicone ear tips and the associated paperwork. Like most electronics nowadays, instructions are accessed via a QR code. I selected the largest size ear tip that fit comfortably in my ear. This not only helps to hold it securely but helps to improve the sound quality. While I was holding the box in my hand, the earbuds linked themselves to my phone, possibly via the QR code on the box. There is an app to download to help fine tune the earbuds to you and help you to set the settings. If you'd rather control them with the app instead of the controls on the side of the earbuds, you can do that. The earbuds have active noise canceling and ambient sound mode, which allows you to hear things around you like cars or someone coming up behind you. There are various settings to customize the sound of what you're listening to: bright, excited, mellow, relaxed... There is an equalizer setting as well. The app can also control the sound settings of the earbuds based on your activity. You can connect to two devices simultaneously. There are dual mics for great sound when making calls. If you subscribe to a premium music service that provides 360 Reality Audio, you can set the earbuds up for that as well. I found the sound canceling to be kind of lacking, especially at lower volumes. The physical size of the earbuds is rather large and sort of hangs out of my ears. If I were to run or work out, I wouldn't feel confident that they would stay in my ears securely. At the price point, they are affordable and definitely won't break the bank.

However, my fears were unfounded. Snug fit, great sound, more than adequate battery life.

Good Buds; Still Adjusting Sound in App

Out of box they sounded a little tinny to me. Have tried app mods, but sound did not seem to change much. Will keep trying with app settings. Phone calls were very good (sound, quality, ease of use).

Excellent noise cancelling for office and beyond

I work hybrid between office and home and travel frequently, so talking calls from the airport becomes a must. The noise cancelling for both ambient noice and mic is top notch. I can join a teams call in a crowded airport and have everyone on the call hear everything I'm saying without any background interference. The app that you use to set them up makes pairing a breeze, and they allow you to connect multiple devices AND choose which device you want to make your primary. So I'll connect them to my phone and my work laptop and use the app to switch between the two. HUGE! The music quality leave a little to be desired in terms of audio present and rich depth, but these are best for teams/phone calls, and that's where they truly shine

Great but ...

They connect to your phone easily and rhe color is really cool! Blue is my favorite color. The only thing is that when I use them whe working in the yard, after a bit they fall out very easily out of my ears. I even tried using different silicone pieces to see if they would stay better and longer and nope. But that really is the only thing I guess, but i really rely on having my earbuds when being outside working in the yard and garden.

They are pretty nice so far! Lightweight and functionally easy to navigate. Sound quality is good enough for me. As others have noted: the case seems a bit flimsy but if that's the biggest issue, they are still worth the price.

I paint for a living so i know good ear buds from bad, they are loud good bass and DONT fall out your ear when bending over or reaching 5 stars! Plus they hold a charge for 8.5 hours.
