Outstanding Sound but app can cause cut outs

Ip55 rating as well since I run outside and sweat allot so I wanted earbuds that would hold up. The sound on these are on par if not better than beats . The mids and highs are more clear and noise isolations is better. But you must use the right earbud/hook combo, if not they will fall out. Also sony app connect that comes with these is powerful lots of features including sound profiles and even connection profile, best sound or best connection. The problem is the less than 1 second cut outs on the left. I tried resetting them and changing sound profile no result. This followed me to my note 20 ultra the resolution was keeping the sony connect app closed when I am.working out no issues since but will dock a star.

To maximize the effectiveness of Noise Canceling and to achieve optimal Sound Quality (particularly bass frequencies) it is important to minimize any gap that exists between your ears and the earbuds. Please choose the size of earbuds and arc supporters that results in the tightest seal. (Try the earbud sizes in order from larger to smaller.) A tighter seal may also be achieved by lightly pulling up on the top of the ear and twisting the headset as you place it in your ear. To achieve maximum stability select the size of arc supporter that fits comfortably and snugly inside your ear grooves. If you was thinking about these over the AirPod pros, I would say get the AirPod pros if they can stay in your ears. because the noise Cancellation is a bit better then this Sony earphones. The sound is good and the mic quality is good. Nobody complains when I talk to on the phone. “I’m only Disappointed in the noise cancellation” If you could live without noise cancellation being ok at best. Then I would say you should get these headphones. These stay in my ears really well

They fit snug, have great sound (including great bass for true wireless), charge fast, and they have a great app. Only possible negative would be the lack of wireless charging and the price. Great battery life & stays in my ear when running

With the correct silicone inserts, fits securely in the ear - use it for running and once I figured how to properly wear them, they had no issues staying on. Noise cancellation is just so-so, not as good as my wired Sony noise cancellation earbuds when I use in my xperia phone.

They are comfortable, sound great, the call quality is good, and the noise cancellation is good (they are not like the over the ear good but for their class they are at the top), and to top it off the touch controls work perfectly for me and they let you choose the type of controls you like to have accesible with your fingers without having to reach for your phone.

I was actually looking into the WF-1000XM3 but as those have no official IP rating and are missing the hooks which are so helpful if you want to wear them during a workout - I went with these. Overall sound quality is great, the sound is clear and bass is good. They can also go a lot louder than my previous BT headphones which is great when you are finishing those last miles of a run. App works great and gives lots of features / settings - however, you don't need the app. Pairing with other devices or your laptop is possible without the app.

I use from just casually listening to music and when I go to the gym. The added water resistance was the reason for purchasing over the higher end WF-1000XM3. Hopefully this feature is applied to future WF-1000XM4 models so you get the best sound and water resistance protection.

Recently, I have purchased several Sony audio products and been very happy. However, these were problematic from the get-go. The left earbud would regularly drop its signal for no reason. This would be accompanied by a beeping sound when it lost signal, and then again when it regained signal. To say this was annoying as an understatement. To say this is unacceptable and a set of earbuds this expensive from a major company like sony, is even more so. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because the sound was great the fit was great and the battery life was awesome. But none of those really matter if the headphones don't stay connected. Ended up returning them, and as usual Best buy customer service made it a no hassle affair. Whatever I end up getting as a replacement, I'll get them from best buy.

This is not the experience we want you to have with us. Resetting or initializing the headset may resolved the Bluetooth connection issues with the left earbud.

The wind came through pretty bad when I tried using noise canceling but when it was set to ambient , it was fine.. No wind noise.. ( or very little ) They fit my ears on the first try with the stock ear mount.. They had plenty of battery left after a 3-4 hour tour.. The charger is very convenient.. I would have gotten the next model up but it was too much... I also have the headphones which have a decent sound..

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had these headphones for ~6 months and I’m very pleased with: sound quality: I mostly listen to rock and jazz and find the quality very clear with an excellent bass range noise cancellation: a good fit is a must but once I did that I’ve found it to be very effective Battery life: my usage is typically a few hours a day and the battery holds up quite well with a charge needed every week or 2 The only negative I’d suggest is the size. They’re a bit larger than other headphones I looked at but I’ve gotten used to it.

Pretty Decent, Noise Canceling Not Perfect

Like others mentioned, with no music going you can hear a faint white noise while the active noise canceling is enabled. It is pretty good at cutting out consistent lower frequencies like airplane engine noise, not as good at cutting out higher frequencies like cabin fan noise. The music sound quality is great and the app is pretty easy to use. I can’t seem to find the perfect fit with the included ear pieces but it’s good enough. I DO wish there was a way to have noise canceling enable/disable, volume control, and playback control touch functions all at once. I haven’t figured out how to answer/hang up calls, either.

I Use them while I mow and weed wack and they sound great! Noise cancelling works very good, and something I disliked about the jabras was comfort, after a Couple hours your ears would start to get sore. I've worn them for over 4hrs staright and they have yet make my ears feel sore, awesome!. Hopefully they last me longer than the jabras. Go Sony!

We are sorry to hear that the wireless headphones had to be returned. Good to know that you appreciate the fit and overall sound quality.
As for call quality issue, if you feel annoyed or uncomfortable with popping noise or crackling noise, we recommend to try and turn off the noise-canceling function and ambient sound mode with the Sony Headphones Connect app.
Initializing the unit and updating to the latest firmware may also resolve some of the issues you might be facing with the headphones.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tight and secure fot due to wings on buds, sound quality is the best i have tested on any earbuds so far but you have to download sony app and either select one of the preset EQ's or make a custom one, since sound right out of the box may be disappointing. Noice canceling is not the greatest but not what i bought it for, touch controls also take a while to get used to. They are not the most inconspicuous, case is also big. With sony app you get a lot of great features, would highly recommend, especially at discounted price.
