Compact, lightweight, great audio
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony WF-C510 earbuds are a fantastic pair of headphones and impressed me more than I was expecting. These earbuds offer an actual push button touch on both ears, which I like when I'm working out or have sweaty hands. The fit of these earbuds is one of the best I've had compared to many other brands and types I've used in the past. I'm a person that likes to work out with outdoor runs, indoor workouts, office wear, and casual use around the house. These Sony WF-C510 earbuds are comfortable in all of the situations I have used them so far. The compact size and lightweight feel makes these great for long usage periods throughout the day. On a full charge the earbuds will give you a maximum amount of 11 hours of battery life, and the rechargeable case will give another 11 hours of battery life to these earbuds. There is also a 5 minute quick charge that allows up to an hour of extra play time on the earbuds when you're short on time. The multipoint connectivity is a nice feature which allows me to pair the headphones up to 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time. An example of how I use this feature is that I'll stream music and virtual office meetings on my laptop while using my earbuds, and then when I get a phone call on my iPhone I can use the same earbuds to take the call on my phone. This is great for multi-tasking purposes in an active lifestyle like mine. These headphones have a few nice features to offer when paired up with the Sony Sound Connect app, which allows for customizable EQ presets. I like the Ambient Sound Mode functionality available within the app, but also at the push of a button on my left earbud. The earbuds also offer a Voice Focus feature which allows me to hear human voices while suppressing noise. The Sony Sound Connect app also has a feature called Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, DSEE. This feature helps to restore audio to a high quality sound that is closer to the original recording. 360 Reality Audio is another feature that these Sony WF-C510 earbuds are capable of. There are particular music apps that offer 360 Reality Audio, such as Amazon Music and the sound spatial audio field is truly experienced with these earbuds. I have added the Spotify Tap app to my Sony Sound Connect app, which gives me quick access to my Spotify music at the push of a button on my earbuds. IPX4 water resistance on earbuds like these give me peace of mind when I'm using them on sweaty outdoor runs that get caught in some light rain. I can get easy voice control to my phone's smart voice assistant on either Google or Apple with the push of a button on my earbuds. Thankful that these earbuds allow for single independent earbud usage as I will find myself popping only one earbud into my ear while doing stuff around the house, as this allows me to listen to music and have a conversation at the same time. Fast Pair is available with bluetooth pairing on Android devices, and this allows you to see where you may have misplaced them. Easy to pair up with your computer with Windows 11 or Windows 10. Overall I really like the sound quality on these 6mm driver units built into the earbuds and think that they offer a nice range of sound and clarity for phone calls, videos, and music. The struggle I face many times with earbuds in this size and design is the fit and how frequently I have to adjust the earbuds to keep them from falling out. These Sony WF-C510 are a welcome surprise and as Sony says they're optimed to perfectly match the human ear. I'm liking the fit and how snug they stay put for 5 mile outdoor runs, or indoor gym workouts. The pocket sized charging case is compact and very portable for minimal storage. The case is very sturdy and easy to open and close with a nice groove along the lid. Included in the box are earbuds, charging case, earbud tips. You will need to have your own USB-C charging cable, as Sony does not provide this item in the package.

These Sony WF-C510 Earbuds ROCK!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received these Sony earbuds and was happy right away they arrived in white and they are quite stylish. Upon opening the box I was pleasantly surprised to see they are held in an oblong charging case which is really great due to its small form factor. They fit easily in my little purse or in a pocket on my blouse. There is also some paperwork with minimal instructions but you can scan a QR code which takes you to the Sony Sound Connect app. One thing to note is Sony did not include a USB-c charging cable which I found a bit strange but I had a few lying about so no big deal for me. You will have to provide your own charger as well. Inside the app it takes you to the optional 360 Reality Audio Setup where it analyzes your ear shape and optimizes apps that support 360 Reality Audio. I got to listen to some music on the 360 Reality Audio LIVE. Crazy awesome! Then I headed for the Settings and on the Equalizer you have 12 to choose from ~ OFF - BRIGHT - EXCITED - MELLOW - RELAXED - VOCAL - TREBLE BOOST - BASS BOOST - SPEECH - MANUAL - CUSTOM 1 or 2. I chose the BASS BOOST although in all honesty they sounded fine right out of the box with factory setting to OFF. I decided to leave the Ambient Sound off to conserve power consumption. There are other settings under SYSTEM and I did turn the volume up to +2 but you also control it with your phone or whatever it's connected to. I then clicked the left earbud 2 times and it opened the Spotify app. I headed in and played a number of my favorite songs. WOW! I was blown away by the sound of every single one! I listened for a number of hours and the battery life was excellent. In fact as I write this I have them on and still going strong! I experienced no dropped signals or muddy sounds at all. Phone calls were superb too. The callers said I sounded like I was just on my iPhone 16 Pro Max and not using any earbuds. The microphone is definitely excellent quality. I could also hear everyone with no distortion whatsoever. I love these earbuds! I am a big fan of the open-ear styles now but honestly these Sony's have won me over. They are so lightweight and comfortable plus easy to navigate with the push button controls on each one. You also have a choice of silicone ear caps from small to large. I used the installed mediums which work perfect. I am simply amazed how great they are for the low price! I could easily see these selling for twice the amount they are and more. I highly recommend their purchase ~ just pick one of the 4 colors ( Black, Blue, White or Yellow) and you're good to enjoy some of the best sounding tunes, audiobooks, etc. Whatever you throw at these you will definitely be more than pleased! 5+ stars! No CONS with these beauties!

Great fitment, so comfortable, with crisp sound!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Sony WFC520 Truly Wireless Earbuds are some of the most comfortable ear buds I've ever worn. They have a narrow, funnel like channel that fits in my ears perfectly. My ear canals have a protrusion that means a lot of earbuds hurt my ears, but wearing these has been a complete pleasure! They are easy to set up with the newly renamed Sound Connect app. Charge up your earbuds, open up the app and you are taken through the set up process. You will have to do a software update right out of the gate when setting them up, so be prepared for that. During set up, you can go through the 360º Reality Audio set up, but you may be prompted to sign up for a service that provides that audio content for you. However, the 360º sound is really immersive if you do so. These headphones will last for up to 11 hours on a charge, with another 11 hours of charge stored in the headphone case itself. The large buttons on the earbuds are intuitive and you can set up their function within the app. You can use these earbuds on multiple devices, so for example if you use them on your laptop for Teams calls, you can also have them paired to your phone to take calls and switch between the two devices as you need to. There is an Ambient Sound mode, that amplifies the sounds around you, if you so choose, so that you don't have to take the ear buds out of your ears when talking to someone if you don't want to (ideal for not losing them!). The sound out of them really impressed me, for such a tiny footprint, they have a surprising amount of bass and clarity. I would take the time and set them up to your liking within the app - DON'T just use the presets that Sony provided in the equalizer. If you set up a custom sound, you will listen to some music and be given 5 different settings to choose from. Decide which sounds best to you, you select it and then you are offered to fine tune that sound. Select again and you have one more round of fine tuning, and then you have your own custom equalization, which really makes a difference to the sound. So please, play around with the settings, dive in and don't just use the ones that are provided. The app gives you so much control. You can also visually see if they are connected, how much charge they have and control different parameters of the earbuds. Overall, they are incredibly comfortable - they come with 3 sizes of ear tip overall, choose the one that fits you the best without them falling out or hurting your ears. The medium size was best for my ears. The sound is so good for such a small footprint of an opening, and 22 hours of charge (with the initial charge and the case) is superb!

Elevate Listening Experience
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Sony WFC510 Truly Wireless a few weeks now, and I'm impressed, to be frank. It strikes a perfect balance between sound quality, comfort, and functionality. Very good sound quality: deep, punchy bass, clear midrange, and crispy highs. Whether I am listening to music, movies, or calling, it is actually quite an immersive, great listen. Noise cancellation is equally impressively well, in that it blocks the ambient noise and enables you to focus on your audio. From a comfort perspective, the WFC510 sit inside the ears comfortably and don't budge one bit during hard-core workouts or extended hearing sessions. The lightweight design and soft ear tips make them a comfortable wear for extended use. Touch controls are intuitive and usable, as one could increase or decrease the volume, skip tracks, or receive calls just by tapping. The battery life is good enough, either. I've used earbuds several hours on a single charge, and that will make them perfect for daily commutes or workouts. The charging case itself is compact and convenient; it is good to go for more extra battery life. Overall, these earbuds represent a real find for those who need a combination of excellent sound, comfort, and decent, predictable performance.

Great Sound for a Great Price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are in the market for budget friendly wireless earbuds that don’t compromise sound quality, then look no further. Don’t be fooled by the low price point because it doesn’t mean Sony has compromised on sound fidelity. These excellent wireless earbuds sound almost as good as more expensive earbuds. I have long used Sony products so setup was as easy as I expected. The Sony App is not required to use these earbuds, but it greatly enhances the user experience. The App offers numerous ways to customize the controls and sound. There is a 5 band equalizer and several different sound presets to customize the sound profile. Out of the box the earbuds are tuned to a pleasant but neutral sound profile. My personal preference is towards traditional click buttons, so I especially like that these earbuds use a mechanical button instead of touch controls. I found the battery power to be excellent. I was able to use the earbuds for a few hours each day without needing to recharge until after a couple of days. One earbud can be used at a time for the times that the use of both earbuds is not desired. Included in the box is a selection of small, medium, and large ear tips. Using the right size ear tip will not only create the best sound quality, but also create a nice level of passive noise cancellation. I plan to use these earbuds for outside activities where there is a risk of damage or loss. I have more expensive earbuds that I use for critical listening in my home. I find that any time I take my earbuds outside that there is a risk of them not making it back intact, so I like to have a set of less expensive earbuds that will not be as financially painful if they are lost or damaged. I am continuously amazed at how far Bluetooth earbuds have come in such a short time. What was reserved for more expensive earbuds, has now trickled down to the entry to middle range models. As long as you don’t need active noise canceling, then I think most people will be very pleased with how good these earbuds sound.

Great sounding and easy to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are nice wireless headphones with great sound and functionality. The headphones arrive in a case and 4 different size earbud covers you can use depending on ear size. The earbuds are fairly comfortable while wearing. They fit in my ear nicely and stayed in while walking/jogging without any issues or discomfort. The pairing with my iPhone was very simple. Upon removing them from the case my phone immediately found the headphones in the Bluetooth settings for fast and easy connection. It isn’t required but in my opinion you should download the sound connect app from the apple or google play store. With this app, you can really customize the sound for the earbuds. Some of the best features are the ambient sound controls, custom equalizer for the sound you want, connect to two devices simultaneously and selecting the best tips for you earbuds based on size of ear. Also a nice feature is you can charge the headphones in the case while connected to power or you can charge the case without the earbuds so once you put the earbuds in the case, they charge while not connected to power. These are great headphones with nice sound and functionality. My only disappointment was they do not come with a charging cord. The case charges with a USB-C cord. For me this is the same need for my phone so not a huge deal but would have been nice if they included a cable for charging.

Sony Quality and Features for a Bargain Price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re looking for a great value in TWS earbuds from a know brand, you can’t go wrong with these Sony’s. They feature many of the same features of Sony’s premium buds but at a much more budget-friendly price. The case is ultra compact and the buds work well and sound good. You’re basically giving up Active Noise Cancellation, wireless charging, in-ear wearing sensors, and a bit of sound quality, but just about everything else from the premium buds is there… at a fraction of the price. Highlights: * Very compact case. * Amazing battery life. * Amazing value. * Tactile buttons on each bud. * Good (but not amazing) sound quality. * Ambient sound passthrough works well. * Many of the same App-based features of the more expensive buds. Room for Improvement: * At this price point, cannot complain about missing features such as ANC, wireless charging or wearing sensors. * No USB cable or power adapter in the box. Setup: Setting up TWS earbuds is getting standardized by using an app, BT LE (low energy) for discovery and automatic pairing of the main BT connection. Before doing anything else, it’s always a good idea to charge things up fully. There’s no USB cable or power adapter in the box (presumably to save on cost), but the case charges with any standard USB-C cable and adapter that you probably have lying around. The case also does not charge wirelessly but it’s easy to plug in on the back. Plug the case in and charge it up until the light on the front of the case turns solid green. Then you’re ready to set them up! The simplified quick setup guide in the box has a QR code that when scanned by your phone opens a web page with the full quick setup instructions that also includes a link to download and install the free Sony Sound Connect app. This app works with just about all modern Sony headphones and speakers. I already use it with my other Sony earbuds, but adding these new C510’s was just as fast and easy. Tap the button to add a new product and follow the on-screen instructions. My buds had a firmware update available which took about 10 minutes to download and install. Now the buds are paired, connected, updated and ready to use. Usage: The case is really small, light and easy to pocket with its rounded corners. The lid flips open and closed with a satisfying click. The bottom of the case is flat and the case stays upright even with the lid open. The buds are presented like jewelry ready to be removed and worn. They are easy to grab and remove from the case, and fit well in my ears with the pre-installed medium silicone tips. Other sizes are provided and are easy to swap out for a better fit if needed. Like most other similar buds, just take them out of the case and they’ll power up and reconnect to your phone. With their Multi-Point feature, they can also be paired and remain connected to two devices of your choice such as your phone and laptop, or phone and tablet, etc… Once added to the app, you can check their battery and options status, configure the various features or apply any available firmware updates. It’s the same app that other modern Sony headphones use, so if you have any other Sony buds, you’re probably already familiar with the app. Even though these are Sony’s “value” buds, they still have a ton of features and options. The app has a lot to offer and it’s mostly well-laid out. Tap around to set the sound equalizer, choose what the buttons on each bud do, how much sound is passed through when Ambient mode is activated, and many others. For me, the buds are comfortable for longer wearing sessions. They are rated for an amazing 11 hours of music playback plus another 11 from the charging case. That’s close to two days of all-day use before you need to charge the case up again! If you forgot to charge them, a quick 5 minutes gets you an hour of listening. Sound quality is quite good for the price. I have much better sounding buds, but given the great price of these, they sound better than their price might indicate. Bass is punchy and the mids and highs are good. They could be tighter, but again, at this price they sound more than good. I did an A/B comparison with my favorite genre of New Wave music and while there is a noticeable improvement when listening to the flagship buds, these are good enough for everyday use. Without Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), you’ll have to rely on getting a good seal with the provided ear tips to block out the noise. You still get Ambient mode to pass sound through, though, which is convenient when you need to talk to someone for a sec without needing to remove the buds from your ears. Connectivity to my phone was solid and the buds remained stable in my ears even while walking and exercising. They are rated for “IPX4” which means that they’re safe for light rain and sweat but shouldn’t be submerged. Overall: If you’re looking for a great value on solid TWS earbuds, you can’t go wrong with these Sony’s. They sound good, are ultra-compact and have tons of customizations and features borrowed from Sony’s more expensive buds. You’ll be giving up a few high-end features, but are keeping most of what makes Sony buds so good; all while saving some cash.

Small and light with great performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony WFC510 Truly Wireless earphones were a very pleasant surprise. I say this for a few reasons. So often as a consumer, we base quality on price point. You are naturally going to assume something priced at $50-100 is going to be inferior to another item priced at double or triple that price point. It’s how we are taught to think as a customer. Let me start by saying I have all sorts of earphones and headphones, from a variety of household names. I’ll also say I’m very picky about things going in my ears. I’ve always hated any silicone style cups that I had to put in my ears. Sure I liked the noise cancellation aspect of it, but I hated the feeling of the cups in my ears. And this includes several expensive brands. Also, most of them stick out and some have some weight to them. And most don’t say in my ears well, even with simple activities like walking or lifting at the gym. Enter the Sony WFC510. First thing I immediately liked was the size of them as well as how light weight they are. The charging box is equally small and light weight. The easily fit in your pocket and are not noticeable. And they fit well in my ears and don’t bother me. The noise cancellation aspect works well. The Vivos easily block the ambient noise. Am no audiophile and I don’t pretend to be. But I really like the sound these produce. For a $50 pair of earphones this they simply exceed my expectations by a lot. The earphones claim an 11 hour battery life? To be honest I didn’t push them that far yet. But in case you do, you get another 11 hours out of the case. That’s not too shabby for these. Pairing these to my iPhone was simple as well and I have zero complications with it so far. They stay connected and I’ve yet to lose my connection. I’m going to include some photos in my write up here. You will see the charging box is pretty sweet. But I added a pencil for scale to show you just how small the earphones are. So, at the end of the day I’m a fan. I have not tried to push things hard with the earphones yet, but in will as the opportunity appears. But I would highly recommend this to someone looking for an inexpensive option that is a great value for the price point. Thanks for reading.

The perfect blend of comfort, style, and sound! ⭐️
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried many earbuds, but the Sony WF C510s stand out for how effortlessly they fit into my routine. The sound quality is crisp and balanced, giving every song from soft acoustic to bass heavy pop a rich and full presence. They are incredibly comfortable too. I can wear them through long work shifts, workouts, and walks without ever needing to readjust. The lightweight design feels almost invisible, yet they stay secure no matter what I am doing. Battery life easily lasts all day, and the quick charge feature has saved me more than once when I forgot to plug them in. Even without active noise cancellation, the seal blocks enough background sound to stay focused without feeling isolated. Overall, the WF C510s deliver premium quality and comfort at a price that feels almost too good to be true. Sony really got the balance right with these.

Great earbuds with the right price!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony Truly Wireless Earbuds are a nice set of earbuds for the price. You can really do a lot with these earbuds than mose earbuds in this price range by using the Sony app. Right out of the box, you get the earbuds, charging case and two sets of silicone earbud tips. The first thing I noticed was that it didn't come with a charging cord. At first, I was a little miffed, but then I remembered I have so many and I really didn't need an extra one. It was very easy to to download the app from by scanning the QR code on the instruction booklet. I followed the instructions and was up and running in just a few minutes. It took about a minute to pair - but the earbuds were "speaking" to me in each ear one at a time so I knew it was doing something. The app does a lot. It tells you the battery life of each earbud, lets you turn on/off ambient sound, change the Equalizer to 9 different sounds or make custom sounds. It also will analyze your ear shape with the 360 Reality Audio Setup. It is supposed to provide an immersive experience as if you are at a liver performance. It gives a sample and it was huge difference. It does require another app that supports 360 Reality audio and I believe they are subscription based - so I have not done it. The app will also track you listening history and more. I don't have any other earbuds that do this. The sound quality is very nice. The battery life is 11 hours and charge in 1.5 hours. They work with Google Assistant and Siri. They are waterproof - so great for the gym!

Great Quality at a Great Price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony audio products have a great reputation and this set of wireless earbuds is no exception. I already had the Sony Sound Connect app installed from other Sony devices that I own which helped with the set up process. As soon as I opened the case lid, my phone let me know it detected these earbuds and began the connection process. After that, it let me know a software update was available. That took about 3 to 4 minutes to complete and I was up and running. Here are some of the other things I liked: - These earbuds have simple and functional touch controls. Instead of swiping or tapping which can be inconsistent on other brands of earbuds, you can actually feel the button on each earbud being depressed. Within the app you can customize both the right and left earbud to perform the functions that you would like. (play/pause, skip song, increase/decrease volume, enable/disable ambient sound, etc) - The price of these earbuds cannot be beat for the quality of audio and the features included. - In-ear fit with the medium tips were perfect for me. They feel solid and I haven't felt like they could fall out randomly. There are small and large tips also included in the package. (see picture) - I was happy with the audio quality for both music and podcasts. You can get better audio quality with other models/brands but you will spend 3-4 times more money. I could not find anything I did not like about these earbuds, and at the MSRP that they go for, they are a terrific option for pretty much anyone in need of wireless earbuds.

Good Sound, Great Battery, Comfortable Fit!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony WF-C510 earbuds are a great everyday pair of wireless earbuds that strike a nice balance between price, performance, and comfort. They may not have all the premium features of Sony’s higher-end models, but they deliver reliable sound and battery life that make them worth considering if you’re looking for something practical and dependable. ⚠️ Things to Note No active noise cancellation (ANC) — only passive isolation. Bass lovers might find the sound a bit light. Microphone performance is okay for indoor calls but average in windy or noisy places. ✅ Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a dependable, great-sounding pair of earbuds for daily use — work, workouts, or travel — the Sony WF-C510s are a solid choice. They’re not flashy, but they do the fundamentals right: clear sound, long battery life, and comfortable fit.

A lot for a little
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony WFC510 Truly Wireless Earbuds are an excellent choice if you do not require noise canceling earbuds. I ended up putting the largest tips on them to get the best seal and sound from these earbuds. While these earbuds do not have noise canceling, they do an excellent job of blocking a substantial amount of noise. They also have an Ambient Sound option, which allows the sounds around you to be picked up through the earbuds to help you be more aware of your surroundings. I know sound is subjective, but in my opinion they have an excellent sound to them out of the box, but the Sony Sound connect app allows you to dial in the sound more to your liking. I found the "Excited" preset to be the sweet spot for me. The app also allows you to customize the earbud button presses as well. You also get access to Sony's 360 Reality Audio, which sounds amazing from the sample, but from what I cant tell, only four apps support it, and aren't that popular. You also get enough battery life to last most of the day. The microphone is decent for phone calls too. I don't recommend taking calls in noisy situations. It they do work very well for the most part. Overall the WF510's are a great deal, and I would definitely recommend them.

Budget Sony? Budget quality.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony is usually known for high quality devices and some of the latest technology. However, these headphones feel like one of those other budget brands with a Sony label. The design is simple and fits pretty comfortably in the ear. Sound quality is decent and you can modify it further with the Sound Connect app. The charging case is kind of slim and does provide a full charge with the earbuds lasting up to 11 hours on a single charge. However, that is about it for the positive aspects I have for these earbuds. It feels like I have had better budget headphones by companies that are known for budget products and give the same quality for half the price. The touch controls are probably the most annoying thing I find for them. You have to click one ear bud 3 times to have it turn up a slight bit and keep doing that over and over to adjust the volume further. I find this really annoying and it’s not convenient at all. Plus pushing into the ear over and over starts to disrupt the comfort they had. These can be used individually, but I have had a couple times now where I pull the second one out shortly after the first and have no audio from it. Although the controls worked, the audio did not. Putting them back in the case and pulling them out at the same time worked best and most of the time even at separate times it would still sync, but it was those times it didn’t that made it an issue. Plus, using them 1 at a time means you leave half of the push button functions behind as they are split between them. There are some really minor modifications you can do to the buttons in the app, but no real customization. The app does allow you to customize the EQ to your liking and has a feature to analyze your ear shape with a series of photos for “360 reality audio”. However, it is limited to specific apps. Unlike something like Dolby Atmos where it just works with the device and any audio from that device. You can also enable Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) to enhance low quality audio sources and you can prioritize Bluetooth sound quality over connection status. Another setting that can be changed with a single touch of the left earbud or enabled through the app is the ambient sound mode. It is so light that you barely notice it unless you have nothing playing. It can make the difference between hearing a car horn or not, but it’s not like some other devices that enhance the ambient sound so you can hear it clearer. It can be a good thing though because you don’t want every sound coming through on your music, I just don’t think you will hear much unless it is an obvious loud sound. You can connect these to 2 devices, but it is still 1 or the other as one takes priority with the sound, sometimes taking a couple seconds for it to realize the other device is no longer playing audio. Overall, they aren’t the worst headphones I have ever used, I just feel disappointed in what I usually expect from Sony. The controls are clunky and not very intuitive. They do have a decent battery life for their size, but only 1 full recharge from the case. I feel like I have had better from other budget brands.

Posted .Hi DavidJr,
Thank you for taking the time to review your WF-C510 Truly Wireless Earbuds. We're sorry to hear it hasn't performed to your standards when it comes to the touch operations and you find it not intuitive. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your headphones. Your feedback about the touch controls and design is greatly appreciated. Having read your review regarding the fundamental features, instead of tap gesture for volume and track controls, these earbuds have physical buttons located on the left and right unit that you can press to control music playback and phone calls. You can seamlessly switch your sound, thanks to multipoint connection. So, if you're listening to music on one device, and a call comes in on another, your music is automatically paused and the call is switched from the other device. Your music then automatically resumes once the call is complete. Please note that the multipoint interoperability and compatibility among Bluetooth devices vary. And 360 Reality Audio requires a subscription to a compatible online music service, and third party terms, conditions, account, and fees may apply.
We recommended updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Sound Connect app) for optimum performance. A separate article is available if there is no sound or sound skips when using the WF-C510 headphones on this link here:

Very good even though without ANC
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good sound quality as I expect from Sony. I am surprise even without active noise cancelling, it mutes the ambient noise excellently. The bass is strong but not overwhelming. The mid and high are very accurate, clear and crisp. It does have Ambient mode where it amplifies the surrounding sound coming from the mic to the ear bud’s driver/speaker. The product comes with the earbuds, a charging case, two extra set of ear tips of size small and large and a reference guide. The already installed ear tips are of size medium. It does not come with a usb-c cable. The reference guide is just three images and a QR code. Scanning the QR code with your phone will open a web page titled Quick Start Guide. The page has a link to the mobile app that must be used to setup and connect to the ear buds. The refence guide says to download the Sony Headphones Connect app but the quick start guide on the web page says to download the Sound Connect app which is the new name for the app. The quick start guide web page shows three steps, step one, remove the ear buds from the case and wear it by inserting and twisting anti-clockwise so it goes deep inside the ear canal, this is important else it won't sound good. Step two, download the app, run it and follow the instruction on the app to connect the ear buds to your phone. Step three is about how to operate the ear buds such as press once on the left ear piece to turn the Ambient sound mode on or off. The Quick Start Guide operating instruction is accurate. I tested all and they all work correctly but it does have about one second delay, example, press once to start stop a music track, it will delay about one second before the command is executed. Note the app will try to sell you the 360 Reality Audio by playing a clip of music to show you how it will make music sound better and immersive. It does sound very good and make it feels like you are in a wide sound stage. The normal clip it used as an example, I felt they purposedly make it sound awful and stuffy. Don't fall for it, listen to your own music before you decide, this ear buds does sound very good without the 360 Reality Audio add on. So minus one star. The case is of rectangular shape, pretty compact measuring 2.7 inch long by 0.95 inch wide by 1.1 inch height. It is a good size except I feel it is a bit too tall. I am happy with this ear buds as it is of very good value.

Excellent sound, with one annoying flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These ear buds were very light, small, and a cool color. They also blocked out most of the outside noise with their strong seal. However, it is this seal that caused some problems. Like most of Sony's wired earbud offerings, the ear tips seem to cause a lot of noise where you can hear the "thump! thump!" of your own foot steps and sometimes even your own pulse when working out. Some other brands don't seem to have as much of this problem. To make matters worse, the seal on these was so strong I even felt a little "pop" like when you change elevations as I was removing these. Wearing them too long alos caused a little dizziness which is weird because I never have vertigo. I switched back to my other pair by another brand and I did not experience any of these problems. (I did try sizing down the ear tips once but this just caused the already tiny buds to slip out of my ear.) I hope if Sony release these in the future, they address what appears to be the ear tips so that there is less "noise" when walking and the seal is not so tight. Maybe a more breathable material is needed. I really really wanted to keep these because they were the perfect size and actually had great sound quality! I was surprised. I also really love Sony products. I even tried the CF 710? And those had less of the thump problem and "suction" in the ear tips. SO if you must have Sony and have the extra budget, give those a try!

Immersive, great quality audio
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are the "in your ear" type of headphones. This means that for them to work well, you have to put them deep in your ear so that they create the surround sound and bass that is intended for them. The app includes an equalizer and also a 360° spatial Sound mode where it feels like you're listening to the sounds from your brain or your head. It also feels like you are in a concert or that stuff is happening around you. There is a marked difference between the sound that you get with and without the 360° sound. I was very impressed by its quality. The equalizer modes really do distinguish between the highs, lows, mids and bass. I like the carrying/charging case as well. It is small but very practical, cool in the app. You are also able to see the charge level of each ear. The reasons that I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because when I put it into my ear, after a while, I do feel the headphone push against the back side of my ear opening, which made it a little bit uncomfortable. The second reason is that the app 360 degree sound requests a photo of your ear to do a personalized sound profile, which i found a little funny. I only tested the sample 360 degree sounds. That said, I would definitely favor these headphones to do things like exercising, jogging, and perhaps even using them on a plane ride when wanting to save space. These are not noise-canceling but when you are listening to music and they are deep in your ear, they do a very good job at blocking out noise. These earphones have a pass through mode that allows you to listen to the outside well and this is a very handy feature because it saves you from having to take them off when you want to listen to your environment. Overall, I do like them a lot and would just recommend Sony make them a little more ergonomic, or in this case "EARgonomic" :)

Posted .Hi JustBeingHonest,
We're glad that you like most of the features and feel immersed in sound all around you, as if you were at a live concert or with the artist recording in a studio. With 360 Reality Audio, music has never been so immersive and so real. Your feedback regarding the fit is greatly appreciated. The WF-C510 comes with different sizes of hybrid silicone rubber earbud tips to suit different ear shapes. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headset, change the earbud tips to another size to comfortably and snugly fit your left and right ears. The size of the left and right fitting supporters may be different.
