Hands down the best bang for your buck

I have tried several different wireless earbuds and these by far are the best bang for your buck. The first pair of wireless ear buds I owned were Jaybird X1's followed by the X2's. Both were replaced because the batteries died over time. I tried the x4's and they were just outright terrible. Keep in mind, my review will be based off the X1's as a benchmark. They had phenomenal bass response and clarity. Why Jaybird stopped making them is beyond me, So buyer beware, if you haven't experienced Jaybird X1's or X2's and you think your ear buds are awesome, you don't know what you missed out on. On to this pair. Back before wireless buds, Sony made a set of wired buds that were by far also the best bang for your buck. They were $40 at BB and they just rocked. My brother paid $180 for a set of Beats (pre-Apple) wired buds and mine blew his away. He was so mad. If you took those Sony buds and made them wireless, this is what you get. Bass response on these vs others for sale at the time of this writing is by far better than what BB offers. I cannot speak for noise canceling versions as I have not tried to pay $200+ for a set of frigging ear buds. Also, you can't compare buds to muffs. Just stop. Different animals. Pros: Bass response. I've mentioned it a bunch. I had a set of $80 Beats buds and they just flattened out when you go above half volume. Great in noisy areas (Like airplanes). Those Beats I just mentioned just sucked on airplanes. These, however, are perfect for flying. Great battery life. The Jaybirds I so loved did have limited battery life. I would need to throw the aux battery/charger on them about 3ish hours into a flight. These have run entire 5 hour flights with no worries. Cons: The controls are a bit on the large side. Should come with a set of foam ear buds instead of just the silicones. Personally I don't like the jellies. No EQ Overall you cannot come close to the performance of these earbuds for the price. I tried buying more expensive ones thinking maybe it was the price point I was at with my $80 Beats, but no. Do not shy away from these just because they are $40 while others are way more.

Quality of the sound is very good! Technical use is simple. Battery holds plenty of charge. Only drawback is the long wire. I wanted the Bluetooth with wired interconnections but the wire is way too long and so gets caught on everything and gets yanked out of my ear whenever I change position or try to do simple tasks while wearing - like exercise. The wire could be a full 1 foot shorter so that it hangs below my chin, not mid-chest!

I bought this to listen to audio books while I'm on long walks or doing chores around the house. The earpiece fits in snug and I get decent sound quality. My only issue is that the cord tends to move to one side of my neck since there's nothing to hold it in steady around my neck. Still, I have over fourteen hours of listening time to dedicate to my audio books and that's awesome. Not sure if it's the best choice if you plan on working out with it though.

Similar Sony earphones, and in particular the XB400, are easy to wear and perform above average. Purely as a personal preference, I do not quite care for the weighted design as the earphone still tend to slide around the neck. Otherwise, the quality is excellent and the price to performance ratio is unbeatable. The main drawback, in my opinion, is that the earphone does not accommodate more than one BlueTooth channel simultaneously.

These aren’t the world’s best sounding earbuds but they sound pretty good and the battery life is amazing. I use them 8 hours a day at work and recharge them only about 1-2 times a week. Even when I get the notification that the battery is low it still lasts about 4 more hours. They stay in well when moving around too. For the price, they are a great set of earbuds. I used to swear by BeatsX but I much prefer these now.

Decent sound. Good bass. Seems reliable. I use it at the gym and so far I've had no problems with it. The charge stays for quite a while. I am able to use it for days without charging it (I use it for about an hour each day). The only thing against it would be that it's not as cool as the wireless buds. You have these wires hanging around which I don't mind.

I bought these as a “let’s see what these do” and WOW did not expect this great of a sound and very comfortable fit with these Sony’s. Battery life is very good and charges fast. I use these for work and even without ANC it still keeps almost all exterior noises out. Highly recommend these for active lifestyles or if you want a good back set of buds that are light, and Easy to use functions.

I had the Sony WI-C300 and decide to purchase the same one but they no longer had it in the store. I purchased the Sony WI-XB400 and I love them, excellent quality and sound. They connect wireless with no problem and the battery last a very long time. However, the cord was much longer and I enjoyed the shorter cord on the WI-C300.

These headphones have what I'm looking for; USB-C, sound quality, bass, and battery life. In my opinion these 4 things are what make headphones worth buying. The only con I have: Bad mic! It can be good at times but when talking to people they say I sound muffled and have to constantly put the mic closer to my mouth. It can be annoying at times but I didn't buy these for talking. I bought them for the extra bass and yes it sounds nice!

These sound really nice, and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Battery life has been good. My only issue is that they tend to fall out easily when moving around, but there are additional size earpieces though. I’ve been impressed with a couple of recent Sony purchases. I will be looking into more of their products in the future.

I like these headphones. They have great sound and the battery lasts about 2 days of extensive use. My only complaint is that the cord is a little long for my taste. The excess can get caught on things and when not wearing them in the ears, they hang quite low. Overall, a nice set of headphones for this price point.

I came to these headphones after my Powerbeats2 finally took a dive. For the price, these headphones sound incredible. Definitely a bit bass-heavy but its mids and other ranges are satisfactory. The ear pieces fit my ear perfectly, actually! Battery life has been phenomenal thus far and USB C connection is great. Water resistant is a very huge plus for me as I wear these while working. My only gripe with these headphones is the large plastic pieces on each end of the cable. One is your Volume +/- and Power buttons, and the other is what im assuming to be a battery. They have a bit of heft to them and when wearing the cable behind your head... I have had these pieces tug on the cable themselves and pull one or the other ear bud completely out of my ears. If you are wearing these while doing high intensity activity, you may happen to experience this issue.

Pros - Great sound and bass, very light, long battery life, does what you expect Cons - doesn't actually have true multipoint (can only really connect to one device at a time), microphone is only ok, feels a little cheap for the price compared to competition

The sound is really good and fit just fine to my ear when I am running , but disconnect or turn off when I am not close to my phone, and doesn’t answer automatically the calls. The speaker is not so good, people have a hard time to hear me. Missing a clip to hold it.

I absolutely love these headphones. To date this is the fourth pair I've owned. Excellent sound quality. Super comfortable I forget I'm even wearing them at times. And they charge super fast in the battery lasts a long time. Best headphones out for the price in my opinion. I was honestly blown away by the sound quality when I first used them. Would absolutely recommend them to anybody
