PRO:
-- It really re-define or gives me deeper characteristic to different sounds or tones that you hear from audiophiles and movies. You can really notice a difference in the way sounds in songs and music come out from a source. It's like a microscope for my ears. The higher Frequency rate really changes the high tones in the sound stage. Something I won't easily notice on a 600ohm BeyerDynamic T1 with a DAC that has a 32bit at 192khz bit rate won't replicate at digital connection with a toslink medium.
-- These headphones and the best Sony DAC complement one another as a dual combo.
-- Very comfortable with the leather-like ear-pads on the can. I believe the ear pads are soft calf leather.
-- My ears don't sweat after long use, and the cans fit my big ears/head.
-- Craftsmenship is really top notch. It doesn't easily get scratched and after the short period I have had it (3 months), it doesn't look like it falling apart anytime soon.
-- Comes with a 3.5 to 6.0 mm converter.
-- My Sony VR headset doesn't have issues with this headset when I try to use both at the same.
-- Bass is really good. I strongly feel that I would the best Beats Headsets to shame any day with a good DAC.
Cons:
-- It's annoying to switch between a single input connector to a dual input connector.
-- Analog output sources only work with the single input Y cord, and it doesn't go beyond 2.1 channels. If you use the X cord with the two inputs, it will only feed the sounds to one side of the cans depending on which cord is used.
-- Price is still a little pricey for something with less than a 600 ohms transducer.
-- Product can't really shine to it fullest potential without a DAC. That would mean this product is dependent on a DAC (Digital To Analog Console) to really shine, but it does the job without one. A DAC would push this headset to higher glory or sound-romance.
