I had an older pair of Bose. Pay the extra for the Bose. I returned mine and bought another pair of Bose.

Decent Headphones

However, I subsequently found that to be a common problem with bluetooth headphones. I returned these for a pair of Bose. The Sony's actually have more volume than the Bose.

I needed a headset to use with my home entertainment system based with a Sony STR-DN840 amp. The bluetooth on the amp is only for incoming use and will not connect with headphones.

Does not sound engaging at all. The noise cancelling is also nothing special. Audio Technica and Bose both got Sony beat. It is fairly lightweight and comfortable though.

The cushions on the ear pieces fit well. While they look flimsy, they have held up good so far. The folding feature is a plus. The battery seems to hold up well under use. Both the NFC and the Bluetooth worked well and connected easily with my Samsung phone. The sound was clear, with good highs and solid bass. The only problem was the noise cancellation, which is non-existent. There is no indication in the instructions that these headphones have an active noise cancellation feature, there are no controls for it, and it doesn't work. So at $229, they are overpriced. The only reason I am not returning them is that the Best Buy store had no other "noise cancelling" wireless headphones and I was purchasing them with gift cards and coupons, so online was not an option.

Sound quality is good, only issue is that the headphones feel a little "cheap" because of the light plastic used in the body. Does not fold up conveniently, but otherwise good pair of headphones.

The bluetooth works well for Music listening but not as good for the Calls. My friends always complain that clarity isnt good, though my mobile is in my hand or pocket. Very pleasant and smooth for Music..!

I recently took it on a trip and the set were very good at calming the sounds of the airplane (not so good at canceling most other noises). They do sound great with an iphone, and the battery is pretty amazing. My biggest issue is that they are both flimsy and inflexible. If they had the folding feature (in half) the flimsiness would make more sense, but as is, they strike me as delicate at best and breakable at worst. As a solid pair of phones, I was afraid for their safety on my trip. So much so that I eventually returned these :(
