Poor design, makes ears hot

Pros:
Got this for a great deal on sale, and figured I should give it a try. Should have just gone with BOSE.
-Great detachable L-shaped wire!
Cons:
-Burns ears. This is my primary complaint. If you listen for over an hour with the noise cancelling and bluetooth running, you'll notice them getting hotter, and your ears literally begin to sweat. Even indoors in a cool environment.
-Complicated and really poor instructions. There are 3 noise cancelling modes. One sounds like garbage is falling all around you. One works okay, but not great, and the other sounds like metal scraping inside of your head. To switch between modes you have to enter the equivalent of the Konami code on little plastic buttons, and watch as the lights blink in different patterns. Not joking.
-BT not easily recognized and paired on either my Android phone or Macbook.
-A bit heavy
-Poorly constructed - when walking down the street, I hear audible clicking and plastic sounds when turning head.
-I wear glasses and they are super uncomfortable because ear pressure is uneven, more heavily compressed at the top. This won't affect everyone.
-A bit large/cheesy looking.
-Charge port is a bit loose for a micro usb cable. Feels like it's been around the block if ya know what I mean.
-Ear stank. After sweating in these all day because of their warming sensation, the sweat builds up and saturates the inner fabric with some recurring ear stank.
I love and own several sony products. This didn't need to be one. I was lured in by a great price and ended up in something I don't enjoy and cant resell because nobody wants used Sony headphones.

Sounds great

Sounds great. The noise canceling is not as good as Bose and noise can be heard. Once you charge the headphones you an go wireless and not use the cable connection which allows for freedom of movement. Without the wireless the headphones still sound great so there is no compromise as to sound quality . The sound with wireless on also sounds great.

Crackling Sound

The wireless and noise cancelling were the main selling points for me to purchase these headphones. The one thing that really bothered me was the crackling sound when you push on the headphone while wearing them. I bought these primarily for use on airplanes, and the headrest can often bump your headphones when moving, or even when leaning against the bulkhead. The sound is very loud and distracting, so I will be returning them today. I'll see if another pair makes the same noise, but I don't have high hopes.
Sound quality and other features are good, if you don't bump into anything.

Highly disappointed

I had such high hopes for these headphones! But I guess I'm taking them back to Best Buy.
I'll list the pros and cons of this headset.
Pros:
1. Bluetooth synced to iPhone without problems
2. Noise Cancellation works. Not great, but it works.
3. The cushioned ear pieces are very comfortable, IF they would just stay on my head.
Cons:
1. The biggest deal breaker is that after I put these headphones on and connected my iPhone, I laid my head back on a headrest, and these headphones slid right off! I readjusted them, then just lightly shook my head -- and they slipped off again. I would say my head is slightly larger than the average woman's head, so I do not have a small head.
2. The volume is VERY low. I had NC on, and I was connected via BT to my iPhone, but I could just barely hear the music when it was maxed out on the loudest setting.
3. The ear pieces are too loose -- they rotate 90 degrees, but they don't "lock" or "snap" into position. It really makes them all loosey-goosey. I think this is a big reason why they slip off so easily when I lay my head back against a headrest.
Over all, for the price, I'm really disappointed, especially regarding the volume. The Sonys I tried in the store (different model) had good volume, but this set really is not powerful at all via BT and with NC enabled.
So back to Best Buy I go... *sigh*. Why is it so difficult to find a set of over-the-ear headphones that has BT and NC without paying a fortune?

Good but Noise Cancellation is POOR

If you're looking for good Noise Cancellation don't buy these headphones because Sony's NC capabillity is POOR at best. It's so poor that I returned the first set of Sony headphones I purchased because I assumed the first pair must be defective..but the same problem with the second pair. Sony needs to scrap their NC technology and start over again...or license Bose's technology...because it REALLY works. If you don't care about NC then these headsets are pretty good. But I wanted NC for the noisy office...and these were an EPIC fail for me.
