The best Bluetooth speaker I think you can by under $100.

Super sounds amazing quality i loved this speaker.

I bought two of these speakers when it went on sale for BF at $50. I have each of them plugged into an Echo Dot through an aux cord and they work wonderfully for a multi-room audio setup between my two Echo Dots and an Echo Show. Pros: The speaker is pretty small so it can easily fit in a bag or on any shelf no matter how big or small it might be. Even though it's small, however, this speaker packs a pretty big punch. I like that it has some punchy bass - I have personally left the Extra Bass on although you can't tell a huge difference between it on or off. I also like the optional white LED lights that you can either turn on or off (note that it took me a while to figure out you can adjust them manually by pressing and holding the "Extra Bass" button). I also love the design of the speaker and think it looks good sitting anywhere. Cons: The app needs a lot of work. Before my second Echo Dot arrived, I tried setting up multi-room audio through the Sony app which lets you control your speakers wirelessly and you can even set it up so that you have a left and right speaker. Let's just say that if you turn off your speaker and turn it back on, the app won't remember that speaker. It will act as if you have to set it up all over again. Luckily, I have my speakers plugged in and they're left on all the time. There's also no way in the app to rename your speakers, so the app will just show that you have two XB-20s without telling you which is which. It's very frustrating and I hope Sony fixes this problem soon. I think if I was someone who was interested in having multiple speakers through just using the Sony app, I would look elsewhere. However, for the majority of people that are buying this speaker I am sure you are just going to get the one so it won't be an issue. The only other con I would add is that the speaker DOES NOT come with a charger out of the box. So, if you are an Apple household or you have a very limited amount of micro USB chargers you may want to add a second USB cable to your order. Conclusion: Great speakers at a great price - especially on sale at $50 they are a steal. I don't think you'll find a better speaker for that price. If you're looking for an inexpensive speaker to hook up to your Echo Dot then this would be the one.

This thing is great. I bought it as a gift. When we first opened it, it had enough juice to try it out. It was super quick and easy to pair with the phone. Which is good cause we were in a hurry. The sound quality is great for the size. Much better than expected. The lighting on the front is a cool effect. It’s super easy to carry around. Light weight but still has a quality feel to it. The texture is nice also. Easy to grip. I like that you can pair multiple speakers together to have stereo sound. There isn’t too many portable speakers that can do that. All in all, this is a great little speaker for the buck. Best of all, I bought it at 50% off on Black Friday. Super happy with the purchase.

With my Sony XB20 (Extra Bass), I am able to fill the entire living room with sound on this compact device. The battery life on this Bluetooth, pill-shaped speaker is also decent so it's ready to fill with sound when you are. As for the quality of sound, it starts off okay but as you get louder, there is some distortion, it's minimal but compared to speakers in this class, it's still nice. The fact that it is water-resistant is also useful. Splashing it with water won't affect the speaker as long as you remember to wipe it off of course. All in all, this is a great speaker from Sony that introduces a louder sound experience for such a compact package.

I bought this speaker for my teenage daughter and the sound quality is very good for her room. It has good bass for its size, which is always my concern, and fills the room. Because it is a small speaker, it is also easy to carry around. Compared to similar sized JBLs, it seems to have comparable performance for a bit less money. Also there is no exposed woofers like in the JBL, which make me concerned that they will get damaged. I think this is a great solution as long as the room is not too big.

This product was way better than I expected. The sound is clear, loud and even has a extra bass sound option if needed which really makes a difference. Use this outdoors in my golf cart and size is very handy and it still produces quality clean sound. And the battery life on the product is amazing. Used for 10 hours straight with no problems. Two thumbs up!

This speaker sounds great for a speaker that is under a $100 .Was very easy to set up and has a nice little feature that tells you how much battery life is remaining .Has a good working volume that it's quite loud, and was very easy to pair with my Samsung S8 .I like that so much I bought one for my 11 year old nephew for Christmas .

I bought the Sony SRS-XB20 bluetooth speaker because, in the store, it sounded excellent, even at high volumes. I think it sounded as good as the Bose speakers but costed less. It has a reasonable 12 hour battery life and you can pair up to 10 of them together. Two can be paired and used in "double" mode or stereo mode, with one acting as the right channel and the other acting as the left. Music is clear and crisp. Bass is deep and full, impressively so for the size of this speaker. I liked it so much I saw they had it on half price sale and I bought a second so now I can pair them and use them together. That works great! They do charge while playing though the charge light doesn't flash when that's happening. You can only check the battery level by holding a button and listening to the voice prompt. It will tell you though when it gets low. Paired speakers do not work with the aux in, only bluetooth. You can pair each speaker with 8 different devices at a time according to documentation online for it. I haven't tested that.

This is my second portable speaker and I must say it is great. The battery lasts a very long time and it can get very loud. The sounds is clear. I like that it is water resistant. The colors are added bonus and I like that they can be turned on and off. I highly recommend this speaker.

I was shopping for a Bluetooth speaker for my wife's birthday. My first criterion was sound quality. Among all the speakers on display, this was one of the better sounding ones, better than the Altec Lansings, but not as good as the JBLs. The bass boost makes a huge positive difference in the quality. Next I looked at was battery life. At 12 hours, it was above average of its peers. In terms of style, it was overly refined, as I was looking for something like the Altec Lansing's ruggedness, or the Jbl tube style, so this wouldn't have been my first choice in terms of style. The price at $99 was reasonable compared to the same styles of speakers. I could have bought the Insignia $50, but those weren't on display for me to listen to. Fortunately less than a week later, there was a sale, and I was able to price adjust it to $69, which gave the purchase even more value. My wife was very happy with it! It pairs easily to the phone and sounds great at soft or loud volumes.

I had been eyeing this speaker for long time. I waited for Thanksgiving sale, and I got it at very cheap price of $49.99. It is an excellent speaker with so many good features. Bluetooth connectivity is very easy and battery life is also very good.

This is actually my second one of these. I bought the first after just hearing it in the store based on the price and feature set. After I got it, I was very happy with the size, sound quality, and battery life. I looked at some reviews for fun and they were good :) When I saw it on sale for half price at Black Friday I decided to buy another since I loved the first and you can pair them. The pairing works great! You can either send both channels to both speakers or do stereo and send one channel to each speaker. It's easy to change between right or left channel too. A few notes... It does charge while you are using it, the indicator does not show it. It will not send audio from one speaker to the other(s) if the audio is from the aux in (via cord), it needs to be a Bluetooth source for the speaker sharing to work.

Love this speaker. I bought this instead of the UE Boom 2 because it sounded more clear. The noise level is really good. The Super Bass feature is nice, although I wouldn't use it without it on (which begs the question why even include the button? just build it with it turned on all the time). The only complaint is that the app is kinda lacking. The UE app from what I hear lets you do a lot. Other than control the lights on the front of the XB20, you can't do much with the app. It has a built in music player, but I prefer my own music app. I wish the lights work with the beat of the music, but the strobe effect is more random. Highly recommended. I haven't tried seeing how long the battery lasts, but you can google that and find out from the plethora of professional reviews out there.

I bought this portable speaker because I own an older vehicle and didn't want to fork out the money for a new stereo in order to be able to connect my phone via Bluetooth. My car does not allow for Bluetooth connection to my android phone and so I was stuck just listening to the radio or having to use my headphones if I wanted to listen to music off my phone, This speaker fixes that without the high price tag and I can listen to music, talk on the phone hands and earpiece free with it! It has been great to have another option when it comes to listening to music. It has a flashing light option which is fun and it connects and disconnects easily to move from car to home. If you are needing a portable speaker and don't want to shell out a lot of green, this is a great little speaker!

I accidentally bought the little member of the new XtraBass Sony line, thinking that I had the right product i tested the SRSXB10 and was told that I should have gotten the next model which is the SRSXB20, return to the store and got the XB20, I must,confess that the difference is clear between both, The XB20 has the advertised mega bass, and its quality surpasses the XB10, but it does not mean the XB10 is bad, but compared the two and in my opinion the extra 40 dollars are worth it. Also I can use my cellphone to set some of the functions and it is immediately recognized. I like to use it at work, so it is water resistant, the plastic is coated with a rubber finish, and at night the power button and the bass are always illuminated, in case I don't use the extra bass, power button it is always illuminated. The lights have three settings or modes but I prefer to switch them off, and last, the sound is better than my JBL flip 3. I recommend it to anyone looking for acoustic sound and solid bass.

Solid build, great sound especially at lower or higher volumes (bass fades a bit at mid volume levels), easily fills a medium sized room. Lights are a fun option, but I prefer to leave them off to get more battery life.

love the sound of this speaker with the extra base option! it is easy to use and pairs with my IPhone quick. the only thing I wish it had is a carrying case, it is a portable speaker after all!

Easily connected to my galaxy s8 phone.The Sony SRS-XB20 wireless portable speaker has been fun to use. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and feel of the speaker. For the price, it definitely sounds like it cost more than it did. It has a nice decent weight to it considering the size compact, roughly six inches in length and it has a decent amount of weight to it. On the top you will note your standard buttons such as power, volume control, play/pause, as well as a phone button for voice recognition. In addition, there is also an extra bass toggle as well as an add button for adding another speaker in a daisy chain. There is also a Bluetooth LED light that will remain solid when it is connected to a device and it will blink when it is not paired with anything. It is water resistant for those possible splashes at the poolside or someone spilling a drink. The Sony XB20 is a fun device that I’m happy to own. « less
