No problem pairing with my ipad and my phone.not dissapointed with the quality and the price of this product.loud and cheap.i even plan of buying 1 more to give to my nephew for christmas.

Tons of quality at an amazing price. Did not expect it to be this good. Prior to purchasing this bluetooth speaker I did alot of online research. Many of the reviews were wonderful and ultimately lead me to make the purchase. I was still quite surprised at the ease in which it connected to my iphone. And even more surprised when I cranked it up all the way and almost fell out of my chair. Really clear highs and punchy bass, even with the volume on full and the extra bass function on. Not to mention that fact you can connect a bunch of these things and start a party any where. The light show is really cool too. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase

I have several of the sony xb bluetooth speakers. I have 2 of the XB20's, 4 of the XB40s, and 2 of the XB60s. Each of these speakers sound amazing on their own but when you link them all together it will blow you away. I have always gotten them when they are on sale rather than regular price. The xb20s specifically sound really good for their size, they do have a bit of weight when comparing to the anker soundcore, but a much louder sound and cleaner. Bass is as expected for a speaker this size, if you want something portable with deeper and louder bass, go with the xb40s, or larger.

I was debating this over the UE BOOM 2. I am glad I went with this. It is more stylish, louder, clearer, and overall sounds better. The lights function is a bit...useless since it doesn't sync with the beat, it is just random. The phone app is pretty weak (no EQ like the UE app), but whatever, don't need it. It is also cheaper than the Boom 2. Yes, you lose the IPX7 rating (the XB20 is only IPX5) but its ok. I'm not using this at a pool, just around the house. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband were looking for a speaker for our son and stumbled across this one in store. It doesn't look like a super flashy speaker but once you turn it on it is amazing. The sound quality is amazing and it's an extremely convenient size for on the go activities. It has a neat light that pulses to the beat which is quite entertaining. The quality overall is great and the price is nice. I would recommend this product definitely.

I purchased this speaker as a gift for my wife and myself to use and we couldn't be happier. Speaker does all that is described on the box. Great sound with good bass for small speaker and plus it has lights to sync with music!! Also even though it's not waterproof, it's still water resistant in case you decide tohave it with you near any pools or accidentally splash it. Great product made by a great company brand.

I expected little more than flashy lights and fluff that teenagers want from their BT devices. However i was thoroughly impressed by the sound quality and battery capacity of this unit. It’s not a Bose unit but it is a very clear and crisp highs with significant base and lows without distortion. Very happy with this purchase and on sale it is definitely worth its price easy to connect and pair quickly. Worth it.

I was looking for a mid-tier speaker to purchase for a teen. This has turned out to be a solid choice, as the bass is decent, as well as the mids and highs. It also has solid battery life, even with the flashy lights. It is portable enough for her to take to school to use during recess and free time. This is a good choice as a gift, but if you're looking for more high-end sound, this may not be the best choice.

I ended up returning this speaker for something that was more suitable for my needs, but I tested this speaker a bit prior to returning and the quality of sound is very good considering its price point. I'm usually a fan of Sony products as they're typically well-made and this is no exception. Extra Bass option gives it a bit more thump. If you're looking for crisper sound with wider range that can fill a medium-large size room I would look at a higher tier of speaker, but for a small room, office, or on-the-go this is a great speaker.

I don't understand why you'd ever turn off the extra bass....but this speaker is amazingly loud and sounds incredible -- especially for it's size. The lights are an added, if not sometimes annoying feature, but they can be turned off. Overall a superb speaker -- get it now while it's on sale for Black Friday at $50!!!

I bought this to replace a similar-sized (but cheap-drugstore-quality brand: HDMX) Bluetooth speaker that didn't work well at all. The HDMX lost its mind every time it was turned off and needed to be re-paired with my laptop. Slow and annoying, also mediocre sound. This Sony automatically pairs up almost every time (with a Bluetooth glitch now and then). And the sound quality is amazing for a speaker this size! Plenty of bass, though not super LOW bass; crisp mids and highs, very good volume. Danceable! Fills an average-sized room. Battery life is good too, at least 6 to 8 hours. One minor downside is that for its size this speaker is surprisingly heavy, but that's because of the big speaker magnets and big battery; all good things. All in all a really excellent speaker for the size and price, but you'll really feel the weight in your backpack.

I love this bluetooth speaker! The sound is great & I take it everywhere with me when I travel. It stays charged for good continuous play for about 8 hours. I keep my ipad or phone close by to the speaker so there’s not skipping in the sound. I used it on the beach in Jamaica, in my hotel room & at home in the back yard and with my kareoke bluetooth mic. It’s a great purchase for the price

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife to use in her office. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the sound is surprising good for such a little device. The bass is strong. But, if you don’t like the bass, there is a button to turn off bass boost. It is easy to sync up with Blu Tooth. I compared to other models at the same price point and determined this was the winner.

The speaker is compact and sheek. Not only does it look great with it's sleek design, it sounds incredible. The lows bring Down the house!! The feature to connect multiple devices via Bluetooth is just thinking the most! My husband and I love it!

I bought this on sale during Black Friday for half the price. It's very useful, convenient, and easy to transport from place to place. It's small but the sound it produces is great! The bass is very powerful! It's easy to connect your phone with it, you don't need to download any apps to use it. For the price I got it, I'm very happy with this speaker!

Before buying this song speaker I looked at several others including an Altec Lansing, JBL, Bose and Beats. This speaker really outdid the altec Lansing and sounded almost identical to the more expensive brands above. With the half off sale I got this was a no brainer for me. Pure sound with great bass and it is plenty loud enough for get togethers.

I own ue boom speaker which is one of the best speaker in the market but this speaker from sony just blow them away with extra bass and the light that reponse to the music. Look cool sound cool and i also got it when it on sale for 50 bucks. Love this speaker

Nice bass and sound. Vary loud and has nice single color light display and extra bass button. Easy to work with and last for while but will take a little bit for a full charge. Does not move when bass is hitting.

This portable Bluetooth speaker gives you everything you would expect from a regular size speaker. It has the “bass button”. It allows to answer the phone and talk- and the person hears you clearly. Additionally, its pocket friendly, meaning you won’t have to break the bank to get it. I am glad I purchased it.

This speaker is the perfect speaker I could have bought. For the price you get a speaker that is probably worth more than the price. This speaker is super loud and the bass is great. Even has aux cable input for those of you who don't like to use bluetooth that much to preserve your battery on your device.
