Got a good price on this and it sounds great. I have one that’s several years old by a different manufacturer and it never had much in the way of volume. This one can play pretty loud. It has a laid back flashing light (not sure I would call it a strobe) surrounding the speaker grill, mildly annoying, but can be turned off. I like it.

Nice sound, very portable, nice color, very good price

For the money, this unit has such great sound and capability. It does everything you need it to do if using for a call or around henhouse, and the tonal range is wide crisp and clear. It is fantastic for its price group. Great volume and clear at volume. Wish i could turn off the accent lighting, but otherwise what a great unit.

Small speaker, huge sound and bass! Amazing quality.

This is the second speaker of this type that I have purchased. I bought it to set up a stereo effect. The battery life lasts a long time and this is a quality speaker. Also, they go on sale quite a bit and you can get them in the $50-$70. Totally worth it at that price if you are looking for a good wireless speaker.

My dad wanted to buy a wireless Bluetooth speaker but that actually sounded really good and had base. He ended up buying this model and the next one up since you can link them together. He was going to put one at each end of his Terrace to make it sound like a complete system! For $50 he ended up buying me one too!

This speaker has excellent sound for the price. Regular price was $99.99, I got it on sale for $49.99. If you’re looking for a small portable speaker and you don’t want to pay a bunch of money, I highly recommend this speaker.

I got this Blue Speaker during Black Friday 2017, it was 50% off the regular $100, so i bought two. The speaker has a nice Bass sound when it is backed up against a wall but not so much when it is out in the open. I would say this is great for inside usage. Because i have two i was able to to use the music center app and have stereo sound. the Bluetooth works well enough that i used it with my mac mini and it sounded fine

Easy to get setup and to sync up with your phone. Once it starts playing the sound is great and love the extra bass feature. Lights going with the sound are a good feature as well.

Got it on sale an so very good sound for this price. Seems well built. Easily paired. My daughter likes the flashing light feature. The blue light looks nicer I think than the white light on the black version (we have that too). She won't be using the phone feature. We haven't tried the SoundPal app yet.

The speakers have great clear sound that you can hear every word. The battery life goes a long way but the only down side is that you can't turn up the volume up to max if charging from empty. The feel of the speaker is great. There's only one feature missing and that's the ability to charge other devices.

The Sony XB20 Bluetooth speaker is a very good edition to my home listening experience. I listen to it while cooking or eating in the kitchen and the sound is much better than the old JVC boom box in a fraction of the space that takes! I have enjoyed listening to mp3's and streaming internet radio from all over the globe! Makes every kind of music sound great! There's plenty of volume, enough to fill my entire house. The bass (low end) sound is clear and tight and so are the high notes! Definitely worth the upgrade from the Sony base model, which isn't in stereo - when I realized that the smaller Sony bluetooth wasn't stereo, I decided to get this one. I'm glad that I did!

Great compact speaker for the price ... good bass for its size ... good desk top speaker.

I have had many different Bluetooth speakers and this is the best one so far. It is the perfect size to toss in my backpack or totebag and with a great bass sound! I love that it can be piggybacked with other speakers within that Sony line of Bluetooths. I also got it for $49 on sale. What a deal!!!

I was needing a portable Bluetooth Speaker for my S8 and went to the local stores to try them out after reading many reviews and YouTube videos. Out of all of them, the Sony XB20 seemed to the be best under $100 and was on sale for $70. Then a few days later it was $50 and went in and was able to get a credit for the $20 difference. For the price, this is by far the best Bluetooth speaker that I tried. The XB30 is larger, but sounds hollow and lifeless. The JBL Flip4 is good, but the XB20 sounded clearer and more natural. If it goes on sale for $50 again, I may pickup another one, as you can pair them together one for Left and the other for Right channel.

For a small, inexpensive ($69),l portable speaker, this has decent sound. It's more than adequate for listening to podcasts or background music while doing chores, etc. For most listening the bass boost can be turned off for better balance. If portability is less of a factor, move up to the XB30. For $100 it is a big step-up in sound quality and a better choice for more careful listening to music..

I was impressed with how loud the music was when I connected my Bluetooth from my phone to the speaker. This speaker can come in handy for any occasion or party, and you can just carry it with you wherever you go! Completely wireless and I love the lighting that appears as you play a song.

I'm read these reviews with jaded eye. Too much hype and too little fact. But I must grudgingly give this speaker 5 * for price and performance. It amazes me that engineers have found ways to produce deep bass with small cones. Bluetooth functions as expected. Good purchase. I bought two!

Bought this speaker to use while soaking in the tub or sitting outside in the yard. I didn’t want to spend a lot since it was only going to have occasional use. We already have 2 Bose SoundTouch speakers which we love and use all the time, but I was looking for something that was a little less expensive and didn’t need to be plugged in. This is a nice looking speaker (I wanted something that would kind of just disappear into the background) and it has unbelievable sound. The bass is great. It’s also very easy to control. I had thought I would have to give up sound quality going to a smaller speaker, but that is not the case.

Bought this on sale and I think I got a very good deal. The speaker is small but very loud and holds a decent charge. My music never sounds muffled or anything like that
